Your body does a fine enough job "flushing out the bad stuff" by itself without your help.

Fasting can help if you're pre-diabetic or diabetic though and get help you get your blood sugar under control. But if you say you have no energy it means your body is still in the sugar burning stage. Everybody who starts Keto or Fatkins or any type of diet where carbs are limited or eliminated go through that point of lacking energy and focus for a few days. You do make that metabolic change when you start burning fat for energy.

That's what fat girls from my college were doing. Instead of changing their diet and doing exercises, they tried some extreme stuff like eating nothing but a glass of yogurt for each meal or eating only proteins for a week. They would lose some weight after two weeks of this fuckery and then jump back to their old habits to get all these pounds back.

It's like that in every 1st world country. I've talked recently with a few known farmers about the whole Trump-deporting-illegals thing and why don't they just pay more for locals, and they all told me a variation of the story that they did but after the local kid raised on videogames realizes it's not a 9-5 job, but a done when it's done back-breaking labor from dusk 'till dawn 6 days a week, they refuse no matter how much they'd offer to pay them. It's not like the kid needs the money - he can usually live off his parents or social security if he's too much of a fuckup for office work, the state will throw money at people like this so they'd not go out and mug people for rent.
