Main reason seems to be the shift in Cover's direction, just like Aqua. Her poor health situation was another reason for this decision. It's still weird to start her anniversary stream with such an announcement.

It's still interesting that Aqua wanted to cut all ties with Cover. I'm pretty sure that they wanted to keep her as an affiliate as well.

The gravy train has pretty much slowed down so much compared to four years ago (God, it has been that long?) so I'm not surprised the older members are starting to leave as the company change direction away from how it used to be
After all, a business that does not adapt with the inevitable does not deserve to survive

I knew this was going to happen and I expect several more next year to be honest (looking out for the owl).

Speaking about the specifically from a marketing standpoint, this is unfortunately going to happen but it becomes dire when you consider that most of their talents that are beloved are the older ones as opposed to the newer ones imo.

The sole exception are the dogs because they've popped off in a very specific way, but if any of the fantasy or myth girls end up leaving it's going to become very obvious that there is going to be a huge hole within the company that just can't be filled.

The best comparison I can make is pokémon, because regardless of what anybody thinks of the new monsters or their games they objectively have performed better than their predecessors so the misgivings don't really matter to the officials.

It's the exact opposite here.

Less shit going on at Cover and more the people want to do stuff that working at Cover does not allow them to do and or personal reasons.

It’s not even an issue really with Cover so much as it is the women are hitting their 30s.
