It don't matter if 90% of Canadians were starving to death on his doorstep he would never even think of agreeing with anything Trump said.

The sad thing is that we don't have Trump of our own, just another wanna be progressive pretending to be a conservative. When little PP gets into power in June it will be business as usual in Canada. He will continue to destroy the base economy of the country all to save Mother Earth.
In his view there are too manywhite non-immigrant Canadians who have these damn high standards. Expecting to own a home, to retire and not get MAID'ed instead at 65. To have children who will have a better life then their parents. To have access to schools and hospitals not completely over run by mudslimes and jeets.

He's not going as far right as Trump, but his entire political career is centered around yeeting carbon taxation and he has a legitimate, deep hatred of MSM. I'd be much more worried about the Supreme Court. The CPC tried the liberal-with-a-red-tie approach the last two elections and it did nothing for them, there's a reason Trudeau gets literally-shaking flustered when he addresses Pierre in question period and it's not because he's an ideological clone.

It'll be March/April, the entire GST holiday and $250 cheque promise is all but designed for an election campaign. I suspect the Libs will wrap up the cheque promise in particular into the spring budget for just that purpose since the NDP cannot backtrack on it now.
Either case Trump will squeeze Trudeau for everything because he can and because there's no recourse. The US won't be as hurt by a drop in Canadian trade as Canada will be.

No, because it would completely degrade global trust in the US and Canada. What world leader would want to visit a country or do business with it's leaders when they allow murders like that? There would be no guarantee of their safety at that point.

This is easily one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. I do not know what kind of magic wand you think Diplomatic immunity is, but the assassination (Or even just attempted assassination) of foreign powers is not covered by what amounts to a pinky promise. Every nation on Earth, and I do mean every nation, from China, to Russia, to Germany, to the U.S. would fall over themselves to condemn and sanction Canada, Trudeau would be shot and killed by the SS as soon as he tried and the SS members who did it -globally praised-, Canada would not be nuked but the economic collapse it would suffer would make a nuke seem merciful.
DI is a gentleman's agreement semi-codified to law. And every nation relies upon tenuous authority to be able to freely do global diplomacy. Such a flagrant violation would bring that cornerstone of global diplomacy under immense strain and the world -would not have it-. No amount of hate for trump or global enmity would make such a direct threat to their own power and safety allowable.
