2024 Syrian opposition offensives - The first Syrian rebel offensive against Government forces since March 2020

Watch and laugh as millions are displaced once again, as it has been the case every single time in history. If that's your stance I hope you're the first in line to accept them and pay the watermelon seller money for each one of those that crosses into the land of the roach. Not even going to bother explaining what happens to those christians once those "moderate rebels" get their hands on them.
The whole refugee crisis was always bullshit the Euros fed the populace on why they need to get uncontrolled immigration. At best you had draft dodgers coming in, but most of the people imported were just economic migrants coming from Africa.

Rebel Fighters pose in front of the Free Syrian Army Flag, at the Citadel within the City of Aleppo.

IRGC-affiliated channels say that 80% of Aleppo is controlled by the rebels.

"Aleppo in 3 days" is going to be a meme, bros.

To make it more amusing, the Turkish-backed HTS are fighting the US-backed SDF. Wonder how many Ukrainian flags are on both sides.
To be fair, the Ukranian, Russian, Israeli, and Arab ultranationalists all think Trump is on their side, surely at least one of these groups have to be wrong.

They were usually nogs, but the actual Syrians weren't high quality rocket scientists and engineers like they've told us, just losers and bums.

Syrian authorities have declared Aleppo airport closed, which as of recently (past hour or so) was still within their reported territory, but is outside the CBD and govt district the rebels overran. They still hold it, but it's probably no use to them now except as a strongpoint for some sort of counter-offensive.

Some are saying that Assad is still in Moscow for consultations or whatever, as tho he fled. He likely hasn't fled, but he might be sizing things up and making sure his patron Putin gives serious help.

Erdogan was and is happy to shake Putin's hand while providing what support to Ukraine is useful for him and Turkey's weapon's industry.

That second infographic must be old and not really accurate and old. Tankies and those 'peace' type (like Stein or Gabbard who met Assad) always back Russia, Assad and the whole smelly axis of turd world fail as it's anti-American and sort of Soviet innit.
Yep. The Axis of Resistance types were either Shia Jihadis who sucked off Iran or were Russia fellators who HATE the West because.... Either they're losers, losers who moved to Russia to escape charges or are doomers who actually think Russia is "MUH BASED WHITE CHRISTIAN ETHNOSTATE".

Or your garden variety tankie dumbass.
Why did assad leave his second largest city lightly guarded?
Because he's a military strategy retard and doesn't control a solid 25-30% of the country and has had to literally sell off sections of the parts he does "control" to various criminal gangs run by semi related criminal gangs.

Eg. An Arab Mafia state "run" by the Assad family and it's hangers on. Assad is kept in power by the zombie remains of the Syrian military, criminal gangs he lets extort the country and Shia Jihadis plus a small number of Russian contractors.
Poor Assad, I liked the guy and his memes. Also found it sweet that when his emails were leaked it was love letters to his wife instead of evil arab world domination plans
He's a cunt and his entire family (barring the children) are cunts.

He cheats on Asma CONSTANTLY as he literally took over his dead brother's mistresses when he was thrown into the #2 slot after the shitbag Hafez when Basel died in a car accident because he drove like a fucking retard.

"Assad or we Burn the country" goes into the Assad family and why Syria is such a dysfunctional shit hole.

Hehehe they're getting the presidential jet fuelled for his one way flight to Moscow.

In actuality they're probably securing the airport and the areas directly around the Palace to be safe.

All I can tell is that the terrorists sent some advance units forward into the city after affecting local breaches in SAA lines. That doesn't mean anything. These units will have to be supplied else they will have to vacate. SAA reinforcements will take the perimeter of the city under control and then anti-terrorist operations will be launched to flush out whatever Islamists opted to stay.

Hamas also broke relatively quite far into Israeli territory on October 7th but it wasn't able to stay anywhere there; these were quick raids.

If SAA lines collapsed then we'd see a lot of SAA taken prisoner. Nothing like that has happened. They retreated where they needed to and nothing of value was lost.

Reports suggest that there are a lot of reserves behind the initial terrorist strike force with some vehicles and so on but I can't see them occupying and digging into territory that quickly, never-mind organizing supply-lines.
These aren't some fields and villages in Kursk we're talking about but Aleppo, the largest city of Syria. There is no benefit to letting them make themselves at home.

We're reaching levels of cope once thought impossibru

Jihadis took the west and center of Aleppo in like a day and control the entirety of the M5 highway from Khan as Subul south of Idlib to the Al-Ramousah district of Aleppo, the Russians and SAA are still in disarray and losing more ground inside Aleppo, jihadis captured huge weapons stores in the city, but it's nothing just a few advance jihadi units making local breaches, Assad has em right where he wants em lol

I know you're a NAFO troon and suck circumcised dicks harder than folks over at the pro-Ukraine thread but:

>US asking Ukraine to lower the mobilization age to 18.
>Zelensky today talks about ceding territory to Russia.
>There is probably snow in the ground in Ukraine making it difficult to advance on either side.
>Russian aviation is still active in bombardment
>24 billion dollar aid package is alot smaller than the last 2 60+ billion packages to Ukraine and will more than likely not get approved by the republican majority in house and senate.

I am sure Russia has the firepower, manpower and equipment to spare for Syria if they do happen to be in trouble, but I guess they think their aviation for each passing day that keeps bombing the militants will be sufficient. It's harder to recruit Arabs to kill other Arabs than it is being a recruiter in Ukraine finding civilians at gun point.

Edit: Guess the winged hussars are arriving.

Anyone know how reliable OSINT is? Says that the jihadis have now completely overrun Aleppo except for the Kurd-dominated Sheikh Maqsood district, which IIRC never fell in the original siege from 2012-16 either. (Archive) But then again, that's also true of the medieval citadel (I distinctly remember it being shelled & bombed, but it was a point of pride for the gov't forces back then that they still held out within its walls to the end of the siege), and yet there's video of the jihadis celebrating & waving their flag in it posted upthread. If that map is true and it really is Aleppover then this looks like pretty much a Mosul 2.0 situation, and if not even if the city isn't totally lost yet this is still pretty embarrassing for the SAA - had like eight years since the first siege was broken, and four or so since major fighting previously died down, to prepare for something like this.

Also I can't archive it, but I found a video of some more jihadis apparently feeling so secure in their victory that they're literally taking a snack break in the middle of Aleppo.

Sir this is a Syrian Wendy's

Ukraine Copecabana is about 3000km north

And if you weren't an ignorant retard you'd know that winter and summer are the times when advances are possible in eastern Europe, the ground is either frozen hard or dried hard then. Spring and fall are the mud time and that's when no one can do shit

Assad staying in power probably keeps ISIS-style Islamic terrorism from breaking out in Syria, so rebels winning is probably bad for the USA. Iraq and Libya taught us that defeating strong man dictators in Arab countries is bad for us.

But other than American concerns, I couldn't give less of a shit what Syrians do in Syria. Lets hope they kill each other in amusing ways on leaked videos.
