This sort of behaviour is on the same level as the True Crime YouTubers who look sad and might even force themselves to shed tears, then with all the whiplash of a head-on collision at highway speeds, turn completely around and shift into shilling their sponsor - plenty have done it with Patreon too.

The above is a bit exaggerated for effect, but I've certainly seen a fair few channels which get pretty darn close to doing this sort of thing, and it completely ruins the video, even more when placed alongside the usual algospeak and overzealous self-censorship these channels tend to indulge in.

This was the only story true crime podcasts covered like a year or two ago. YouTubers slow as usual.

Things revealed to be ARGs after years are usually good. Things built to be ARGs suck. Since things aren't made out of passion anymore and instead made to eventually sell marketable plushies to kids, modern ARGs all suck.

What even are modern ARGs, it's mostly just unfiction nowadays where you solve a code just to get a spooky message or something like that.

Edit: no, seriously, can someone provide me with examples of actual modern ARGs?

what a fall from grace. Jorge used to be one of the most respected members of the YouTube horror community and now is doing iceberg videos... in 2024?! Not only is it censored but covers pretty much everything that we all know.

I'm guessing the alien Instagram a r g must have took in a toll on his view count for attempting something new.

And it's literally the same iceberg that sourcebrew did a video on a year ago. Granted maybe there's some updates on some things thrown in, but like... what's the point if the rest is the same? Worthless.

My favorite was the mispronounced words by the person who wasn't Jorge or SB, because searching for how to say a foreign word is so hard nowadays.

The moment an iceberg starts the censoring's the moment I lose interest. The moment an iceberg starts telling something that's already been told in 5,000 other icebergs I lose interest. Iceberg's are truly those "read through a wikipedia/surface level understanding of the topic" kind of trends that are the epitome of background noise.

Bruhhh, this man is a whoreee for money. Money is a curse, man. I'll never understand the mentality without viewing it like an addict chasing its next fix. These people aren't dirtpoor, they earn big bucks from simple Youtube videos. It makes me wonder what the hell do they do with the money they recieve.

Do you think he might just be a NEET? Him just flushing out weak-ass content is not going to make his channel any better in fact do the opposite. That's why I don't get about these YouTubers is that it's better for them to just a IRL job even part-time to rake in the extra bucks rather then fighting internet algorithms and get peanuts if nothing.

TRDR: WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR BOY?!
