General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Don't ask me how I know.
If you ain't going to tell don't bring it up in the first place. Just saying. Don't really care tbh.

That Dev guy is ass blasted because he showed up in Pippa's chat and she immediately called him a fat manlet retard and banned him.
I've lost count on how many bridges Dev has burned since he went mask off, yet retards like Melanie Mac and Arch still interact with this guy.

Biboo's message in chat: "it will be daijobu! I'm not going anywhere!"

Fuwamoco also put up a short with the title "we'll be here to protect your smile".
FWMC are probably among the most likely to stick around as they are all about the idol shit.

It will be interesting to see if some of the known "idol" types start dropping though. That would indicate possible overwork/under compensation.

I'd put my money on Mumei next, she hasn't done much for a good couple of weeks. Which may be a holiday but I haven't seen any such announcement. And her Twitter seems like it's under corp management, just reposts and the odd emoji, and nothing said about Fauna, which isn't characteristic social media behaviour of Mumei.

It's interesting to note that Bae, Biboo, Fwmc and Zeta have all recently relocated to JP. I wouldn't be surprised if Cover had a quiet word and suggested if they want to get on in the company it would be in their best interests to make themselves more available. And is probably expecting talents to spend significantly more time in JP.

It’s not even a quiet word. It’s well known Cover likes doing the big events in Japam and the people that moved honestly really like doing that stuff.

I've seen a lot of speculation about how ame got a her special affiliate deal and why other graduates arn't getting the same deal. It's really obvious that ame was not given the deal because of her amazing streaming work. She was given affiliate because of her behind the scenes creation of the studio and assets EN is using in their 3d streams.

Other members are not being given the same deals because they don't have that

Chloe's graduation announcement says she'll be an affiliate.

Kiara will probably stay for as long as she can. I remember when she had a birthday stream as Keekihime, she was worried about getting idol work after hitting 30. Very few idols in Japan do non-porn gigs in their 30s.

This is the new anthem of Cover Corporation after three of their top talents leave the company within six months:

Seriously, though, what the hell is happening over there? I thought they were the stable company that wasn't backwards as all fuck and strangled their own talents especially compared to the black Nijisanji with the whole Selen drama. They're already slowly losing grip on the higher professionalism most of their talents used to have, and even despite that slackening a lot of them are still fucking off to go indie. If Yagoo or whoever is managing this company now doesn't shape the fuck up it's gonna turn into a bank run and all the girls will end up Twitch whores by the end of 2025. What a disaster!

Her and Gura have to be trying to communicate something in code.

With Amelia graduating and these weird coded messages, something has to be going on over at Cover. I wonder if it’s dissatisfaction with changing job expectations and responsibilities or maybe it’s just pure money that has them all flirting with graduation and resuming past life indie status.
:smug: :smug::smug:

Nothing. It’s been 3-6 years and the people that are burnt out are leaving to lesson the load they have to deal with. Just due to scheduling they might all announce they are leaving at once as Kiara pointed out.

This whole thing has put a bad taste in my mouth. I want to keep watching the other Holos I like but I can't help but feel like I'm supporting a company that cares more about what investors want, talents and fans be damned. This graduation really hit me hard being a sapling and it came amid five other graduations and rrats about poor management. Never thought I'd say this sentence but I have to thank Destiny for sucking Nick's cock so hard he crashed the whole site. Shit was so funny I nearly forgot about the graduation.

Also, it's old but this animation only had 50k views and made me laugh

I'm not going to link it for obvious reasons, but Phase Connect's Komachi Panko had an accident during her new outfit reveal, showing everyone her outfit's panties... and the, er, fully rendered stuff behind it.

Note that she streams exclusively on Youtube, so there'd be no reason ever to show that during a delivery.

Why is Phase Connect like this

wont lie i had some fun reading some of the retarded schizo takes on /vt/ last night
from shit like fauna being a lesbian rapist to grimmi being a redskin who scalps animals(she did a hand stream once and was white as milk)
i never watched fauna because asmr just annoys me/my autism so i avoid any streamer who does it but at least she managed to make me laugh indirectly

Heh accident, this is Panko we're talking about. She's #1 lewd tuber for a reason :story:

Honestly, we don't even really know what this affiliate shit even means. It's VERY vague on purpose. Ame hasn't done shit with Hololive since, and we don't know what Chloe is going to do post Hololive. For all we know, affiliate might just mean "we still sell merch of them sometimes". Until they actually do something with it, it's functionally the same as graduation. The thing that sucks here is how secular vtubing has become with corpos. Yeah, this has been a problem for a while, but it's become even more so since things have started consolidating and companies have gotten too large. Back in the day, it didn't matter what corpo you belonged to, you could collab with whoever the fuck you want. Now we've got these walled gardens where if you're in, you get to play with whoever you want so long as they are ALSO in. The second they go out? No longer allowed to ever appear. It makes these awkward "Friend C" bullshit situations, but it also means that if you leave, you're cutting yourself off from everyone you worked with for several years. I understand why people like Shondo would be celebrating right now, but I personally mourn the loss of the interactions more than the loss of the streamer. I mourn the fact that we're never going to get another SNOTcast until they all graduate, if that ever happens. I obviously can't know what the individual situations are for Chloe, Aqua, and Fauna, but I can only feel like it's got to be something really shit to give up all of that perminently.
