Well duh. I have an ai generated icon and my work involves heavy ai use. Ai gives you what you want to the best of its ability. So in order for something to not be soulless you need a personality/soul yourself to generate something with it.

His response is that he's adamant about using "sippy cups"- he clarifies that it's primarily a silly name for regular cups with screw-on lids, though at the end they're the exactly the same thing (tee hee isn't he quirky). Jason claims that when he hosts house parties he hands out sippy cups to everyone. He emphasizes that, while not foolproof, using a lidded cup adds a significant barrier in the way of someone drugging a drink, and if they have enough time to do something you've probably left your drink unattended for way too long regardless.

This is a prime example for this Peter Pane syndrome shit I see Redditors and other people like them do all the time. This thing where they are obviously messed up people that never meaningfully mentally matured, but cling to some shit they were once told to seem very adult and responsible and grown up. I don't know if there is a name for it, I'll try to explain it, please let me know if any you noticed that shit as well or if there is a name for it.

Imagine a bog standard Reddit consoomer, can't cook and just eats GrubHub, does not have meaningful hobbies but media consumption, does not have a stable monogamous relationship but sleeps around or goons to porn or is trans poly, things like that. Obviously maladjusted sick people, abusing their own body and mind on a daily basis. They will then go to great lengths to show "responsibility" by being really adamant on insisting on doing some inconsequential thing "the right way".

I saw the game today and it was an RPG that looked about as complete as Heartbound barring assets, and he was speaking of it as a small just for fun project. Saw a similar thing happen once with some college students doing a capstone project. Nowadays companies cynically believe everything has been done before, and if it isn't then creating a unique replayable game is much more risky than making whats been tried before and got results. Why make something replayable and satisfying? Lowers the chances of buying the NEXT game. So programmers working under them need to crunch and adapt to what the company wants, and what the company wants mainly is profit, the game is secondary. Pirate software is ok with this since he has no personal ideas or goals, he just wants to play video games and look smart occasionally on xitter or YT.

The bar being so low is a blessing in disquise. There are genuinely talented people making great replayable games. Just look at Quasimorph or Hotline Miami or Project Zomboid

I can't wait for this fuckers game to drop so I can mod it into vantablack oblivion.

Mald has been streaming wow non stop and I have no idea why. I looked at the stream title and looked it up. Turns out it's some kind of a 2nd season campaign from some wow streamer called sodapoppin and it's a guild called onlyfangs about accomplishing clears as streamers in a hardcore server. The whole guild is just streamers and they have a sister guild called fangsly for the streamers' audience so they can slave for the main guild or something.

I read 2 conflicting comments saying the guild leader only allows streamers past a certain size, while another says any streamer can join as it's an opportunity to gain audience since they're mingling with bigger streamers but both seem to agree that everyone involved mainly just wants to do it for clout. Between deving heartbound (LOL), fiddling with his minecraft server, alpha testing AOC, and playing his own wow character and now this, I wonder why mald even wants to join in on this.
