I meant giving it a try as to actively watching one but for the clips that I was recommended it seemed like every single one was a part of a corporation of vTubers.

All it really shows is you need a lot of money if you actually want to grow and expand and not be constantly in the state of seemingly falling apart that Phase is.

Phase will suffer the same problems should it ever want to do the same.

I think that's correct, and even his numbers are still probably slightly pumped from yaoi bait rollover from his Holo model.

If you are not trying to live in a major city, and if you are treating streaming like a job, the line for Youtube streaming constituting an "income" for a single adult is right around 35k subs. Properly monetized, with a monthly sub program on a crowdfunding site, with merch available, and hunting for sponsors, you can live on that, in high 3view/low 4view status.

Someone is going to figure out the sustainable male vtubing format that works, I just don't think it's happened yet.

Shiori just got done saying on her stream yesterday that she's not idol or music focused, and that there's zero pressure on her to be more so.

You seem to be stuck on this "kpop group" angle which as far as I can tell isn't actually an assumption based on anything in reality.

If you really pressed me to try and blindly speculate what there is connecting someone like Ame and Someone like Fauna leaving. My first guess would be "they're both people with responsibilities to pets and family at home and holo expects them to uproot themselves and spend months in Japan twice a year for Holofes and whatever EN concert"

Fauna pretty strongly expressed that she didn't like traveling too much, she did D&D for her birthday stream this year specifically because she wanted nothing to do with traveling back to Japan again to do 3D, so even though yeah she said she liked singing and being an idol, that doesn't mean she was keen on how much Holo/Cover wanted her to travel.
