I'm basically in the same camp here. It would be "nice" if we got the answers we deserved, but expecting that anything would come of this would mean that we assume there aren't establishment republicans who were on the payroll as well, that if given the chance, wouldn't obstruct any fact finding inquiry's, it's just cope to assume that the republicans are like the democrats where they'd all come together to get what they want.

I'd love for the Trump administration to go as hard against the establishment as possible but it would be naïve to think most of it wouldn't just get bogged down and have a bunch of money wasted. I think the best bet would be to get rid of as many establishment republicans as possible, lock up the dems who can be locked up, and maybe destroy all the DA's and judges who thought it would be a good idea to break/change laws to get their way.

Mark Kelly wouldn't have been a bad pick. I can't think of anything retarded he's done off the top of my head and the guy was an astronaut which is pretty cool. He's married to Gabby Giffords so he could speak about assassination attempts, probably do the bigger man thing and double down on condemning Trumps shooter. Probably could have won over a lot of those blue dog democrats.

Edit to add: now that I'm thinking about it in retrospect, I should have replaced SRM with @spiritofamermaid because Gi had the water ring. Maybe I'll re-do the whole thing, but I call dibs on Wheeler because I refuse to be a black dude or a Brazilian tribal.

Because polling measures people who are likely to vote and doesn't account for magically materializing ballots after the extended count starts. That's the point. They knew she wasn't going to get enough legitimate votes to win and were hoping extended counting in swing states would get her over the top.

Does anyone else not really give a shit about the whole "Hunter getting pardoned" stuff? I mean I guess i kinda sympathize. If the only reason people know me is because I'm the son of the senile puppet president who "beat medicare", I too would probably become a gun nut crack addict who has sex with hookers.
