Only if his father is on trial. The crimes suggested were committed when Biden was Vice President. The vice president hs no presidential immunity.

Now that Hunter has immunity he is compelled to tell the truth, otherwise his immunity can be revoked.

If Trumps team really wanted to fuck shit up, prosecute Joe.

This would also imply that the President isn't actually in charge of the executive branch, unironically a massive constitutional crisis.

The best interpretation I can have for it is they want a guilty verdict and for the pardon to be applied after. Instead of the judge dismissing the case due to the pardon (see Trump's case for just because the jury came back doesn't mean it is over). Meh all around in my opinion, but immediately dismissing with no official verdict is probably the constitutionally correct decision.

More importantly, Hunter was just one of the elitespawn that was doing what Hunter did.

Pelosi, Romney, Schumer, they all had sons or nephews or what have you that were over there taking ungodly huge paychecks from Burisma or companies like Burisma despite having absolutely no related skills. Hunter was just the most obvious one cause his father was the VP and openly joked in front of a camera about blackmailing the Ukraine into stopping their investigation into his son.

They've ALL been using the Ukraine as their personal embezzlement playground for decades. It's an open secret in DC. It's why they freaked out when Putin invaded, it's why they were willing to enter us into a proxy war, it's why they impeached Trump immediately for looking into it, it's why they were willing to toss good money after bad into the blender, it's why they were willing to risk the petrodollar over trying to use fucking cancel culture tactics against an entire country.

I have no doubt at all that the evidence is either gone or in a Zelensky controlled black box somewhere. Or safe in the confines of the Mossad headquarters. But there's always a chance that some very, very dirty laundry gets uncovered over there, and they'd rather all of us die than risk that.

Every Member of Congress has family who trade on the family name of that politician. Every one, House and Senate, Democrat and Republican alike. Been that way for decades and that's why there will never be any serious investigations into it. Being able to set up your family at arms-length is one of the perks of the job,

It's not too late to resign and make her president for a short time, both taking the "first woman president" and "first multiracial president" trophies, AND fucking up the "47th president" merchandise line and making them reconfigure everything to say "48th president" and inducing hilarious ancillary costs in the process.

And as an added bonus, the first item in my list fucks over Hillary for the trophy she so covets.

Interesting bit would be if this happend during Biden's term still, because the president does have the power to pardon criminal contempt of court (criminal and civil in the context of contempt of court refers to the nature and purpose of the punishment, not the court that issued it) and generally contempt of Congress (see, Ex Parte Grossman, 267 U.S. 87, 45 S. Ct. 332 (1925), and the pardon of Dr. Francis Townsend)
