Did anybody else notice that Trump isn’t going after Biden anymore? Even with the pardon, it was just about him wanting to release the J6ers. This makes me think they struck a deal. Wouldn’t surprise me if Biden pardons Trump or pardons the J6 political prisoners.
Trump stopped going after Biden after the debates. That they struck a deal behind closed doors when they had their meetings at the WH and MAL shouldn't be shocking. Trump and Biden both want to deal a black eye and a bloody nose to Obama and Hillary and to destroy the shambling mess that is skinwalking as the democratic party.

It wouldn't shock me if Trump told Biden to protect his family and his son because Trump will deal the final killing blow to the corpse that is the democrat party.

Canadians having the right to vote like Americans sounds so gross. At least make them a territory like Puerto Rico.
Based on population size, all of the Canadian region would have no more electoral votes then Pennsylvania California. And if only the prairie provinces join that's even kess

Democrats still don’t agree on the seriousness of their political problem after election defeat

This will really be the millstone around the democrats neck.

Say what you will about the nevertrumpers, the vast majority of republican voters knew exactly what the problems were with the republican party and jumped all in on someone who was a brick to that system.

The democrats, by the very design of their party's makeup, essentially cannot reach that agreement - at least within the four years they have. At the ground level, they are the party of whatever sounds good at the time, so their voting base is completely and utterly scattered on what the issues are, where the issues are, how big the issues are, how serious the issues are, and, indeed, if there are any issues at all.

Day old but I don't think this has been posted yet. Or at least a search didn't find anything.

The title is some random.txt shit.

How a long-haired gay giant helped Trump flip Pennsylvania red

PITTSBURGH — Scott Presler is a giant of a man.
Standing at 6 feet 5 inches and 200 pounds, with 22 inches of brown hair running down his back, the gay conservative political activist told The Post, “I’m a big boy.”
Presler also proved himself to be something of a political titan this year.
After losing Pennsylvania by some 80,000 votes in 2020, former President Donald Trump flipped the Keystone State red this November by 120,000 ballots.

Scott Presler helped register 50,000 Republicans in Pennsylvania, which went for Trump by 120,000 votes.

That’s due in no small part to Presler, whose nonprofit Early Vote Action put the Trump campaign’s “Swamp the vote” strategy into action in Pennsylvania, registering Republican voters and getting them to vote early, by mail, or “by whatever means necessary,” the group’s website reads.

“I didn’t invent the wheel. I just took the Democrats’ tools and used it to elect Republicans,” Presler snickered.

Scott Presler moved to Pennsylvania just to vote for Trump.
Presler founded EVA in the wake of the 2022 red wave that never came. This spring, he focused the group’s efforts on reclaiming Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes for Trump in 2024.
And the Virginia activist committed to the cause personally by buying a house in Beaver County to Pittsburgh’s west.
Leading a data-driven peak field staff of 74 and an army of volunteers making calls, writing postcards and knocking doors, Presler said his team registered 50,000 Republicans, flipped two longtime Democratic counties (Bucks and Luzerne) red by voter registration and increased Republican early voting by 10 points.
On Election Day, Trump retook Erie, Northampton, Monroe and Bucks counties, which went for Biden in 2020.

Scott Presler was on the ground with his field staff and volunteers.
Presler was proud to show conservative “naysayers and doom-and-gloomers” skeptical of mail-in voting that Republicans could beat Democrats at their own game.
And he reveled in their defeat.
“You’re going to hear Democrats say we didn’t have a ground game. Babe, we out-registered you every single week. We flipped your counties from blue to red. And we delivered the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for Donald J. Trump,” he said.
“Put the ‘babe’ in there. That’s important,” he added.
If you haven’t noticed, Presler is a personality.
With the luscious mane, the cowboy boots, the V-neck revealing a hairy chest, Presler resembles at once Aragon of “Lord of the Rings” and a Founding Father, or so his more than 2 million social media followers will have you believe. (Presler insisted The Post credit X user @6hsense for the best of the AI-generated renderings he shares on his X and Instagram accounts.)

Fans have made AI-generated memes of Scott Presler as a Founding Father.
Presler cultivates the mythos with his free-wheeling humor.
“I look so young and fresh that you would never know how old I am,” he said, refusing to give his age, though Wikipedia has narrowed it to 36 or 37.
He routinely posts selfie-style videos of him rallying volunteers — and recently riling up Republicans to condemn a Bucks County commissioner who admitted to illegally counting votes for Democratic Sen. Bob Casey.

Scott Presler was a trending topic on X after Trump won.
This passion for provocation — organizing a “March Against Sharia” in 2017 and “Stop the Steal” protests claiming President Biden won the 2020 election by mass voter fraud — has fueled Presler’s political clout, which he says helped attract crowdfunding and even the attention of Elon Musk, who gave his political action committee $1 million in August.
With a mind for what goes viral, it’s no surprise “Scott” trended on X for 13.5 hours when Trump won the election — the longest-trending search second only to “Latinos.”
But before Presler gained his notoriety, he walked dogs, unable to find a job after graduating from George Mason University during the Obama years.
Inspired by the conservative politics of his retired Navy captain father and wanting to “be the solution,” Presler volunteered on his first campaign in 2013 and fell in love with the sport, going on to help defeat Hillary Clinton in Virginia in 2016 and attend Trump’s Presidential Social Media summit in 2019.

Scott Presler was invited to Trump’s Presidential Social Media Summit in 2019.
“I went from the doghouse to the White House,” he likes to say.
And Trump world took notice of Presler in 2024, with Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump calling Presler “my friend” and inviting him on stage during the former president’s return rally at the site where he was nearly assassinated in Butler, Pa.

Scott Presler has relentlessly followed the data to turn out Pennsylvania voters.
Presler didn’t know he was supposed to speak, but took to the podium in shorts and used the platform to court his target demographics: union workers, hunters, frat guys, sorority sisters and — most memorably — the Amish.
“We will protect your raw milk, your dairy, your farm, your school choice, your religious freedom, your ability to afford to have 10 beautiful children per family,” he said to the cheers of tens of thousands.

Scott Presler helped Trump win the Amish vote.
A self-described populist, Presler shamelessly pandered to groups he found were unlikely to be registered or vote for one reason or another.
Learning many Amish get married on Tuesdays (which would include Election Day) and elders discourage voting entirely, he sold many on early voting and voting privately by mail.
His relentless efforts to register Pennsylvania’s 930,000 hunters became an AI-generated meme.

Presler registered Pennsylvania hunters with a vengeance.
And he energized volunteers by working with them in the field and updating them on the latest registration numbers every week, making their progress feel purposeful.
“We made voter registration sexy in Pennsylvania,” he said.
And though being a gay man in conservative politics has elicited hateful comments from time to time, Presler said he’s proud to have earned the respect of complete strangers for his work ethic.

Let me guess, Conservatives in Canada believe primarily in cutting taxes and unlimited immigration.
Nah, immigration in canada is MUCH worse than in the us. during trudeau the absolute lowest was around 330k a year ( comparison with the US that would be 3.4 million a year) , and that was the MINIMUM since trudeau has been here. It caused, and is still causing a shitload of problems, hence why trudeau is getting decimated whenever the election happens.

It tanked the economy (GDP is going down, the only reason the country is increasing is the increased population, but once people stop being able to pay taxes all the gibes go away and everyone is now poor)

It destroyed housing. A modest house is 500k minimum in a urban center. Toronto and Vancouver you can get a shoebox for a milly. Construction sector is anemic and can't build for shit due to overtaxing and red tape

It's destroying healthcare. It was already costly and slow, add up an extra 15% or so new population who barely pay taxes and bring in fucking tuberculosis,, measles etc

I could list dozen others.

Poilievre ( con leader) want to reduce immigration a large amount ( but imo, not enough) and cut retarded taxes like the fucking carbon tax ( yes, that retarded thing exist in canada) he's much better than trudeau obviously, but we need some1 much more radical

Where do we sign the petition for Trump to annex Canada?
If you're American, you don't want that. Not saying this is you, but the lion's share of Canadians I've seen fell into one of these two categories:
  1. Recreational drug user.
  2. Obnoxiously liberal left.
I don't want to see more of that in the US, no offense to any right wing Canadians who are in this thread.

As has been much mocked in this thread and many others, Canadian Healthcare is so bad they're legitimately at the 'kill yourself because it's cheaper for us' stage.

No, Bernie recognized that there are way more lower class/lower middle class/"solid" middle class vooters in the country than there are upper-middle class/upper class vooters, and losing the former to right-wing populism means political wilderness for socialist-populist politicians like himself and creeping socialism in general for an indeterminate but possibly quite long period of time

More importantly, Hunter was just one of the elitespawn that was doing what Hunter did.

Pelosi, Romney, Schumer, they all had sons or nephews or what have you that were over there taking ungodly huge paychecks from Burisma or companies like Burisma despite having absolutely no related skills. Hunter was just the most obvious one cause his father was the VP and openly joked in front of a camera about blackmailing the Ukraine into stopping their investigation into his son.
The big difference with hunter is that he implied he was passing half of his paycheck back to joe in a conversation with his sister.

A cousin of mine in Canada was recently told there's a 7 year waiting list for a Family Physician in his area. He has bad asthma, and basically has to pay out of pocket to see Dr's.

Don't forget, a lot of the housing cost increases are due to the Indian immigrants Trudeau let in commiting serious mortgage fraud. They than turn the property into a flophouse & only rent to fellow Indians (usually "students" 🙄). Real Estate agents & regulators turn a blind eye, since fraudsters are the only people capable of purchasing a house in Canada nowadays.

I hate recipes that add sugar to shit that doesn't need it. Just about every pizza sauce recipe I come across calls for sugar to "cut the acidity" like the sour savory taste of pizza sauce is something we have to sweep under the carpet to enjoy our pizzas.
I don't know why, but no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't make the tomato sauce not taste like battery acid and had to add at least a sprinkle of sugar to it.
