I realized last week I never bought or played through Superstars. so I bought it on sale the other day for like $15. I'm not very far in it. halfway I think. played it for one sitting and then got busy (drunk). the physics, are really good it plays much more like 2D sonic than Generations, and coming a month off of replaying that I was way more impressed with the feel of Superstars than I would have been otherwise. that said, I got the first 4 chaos emeralds and the powers suck balls. useless addition. I also seriously doubt the co-op could possibly be fun or work out well with this level design. especially with 4 fuckin players. I haven't tried it, I will eventually and come back and say something about that. Instead they should have just allowed a second player that works like tails in S2, and I wish the other playable characters had their own little mini campaigns like s3&k instead of just pick one at the start. oh well. anyways so far it's good, not great. I'm enjoying it and particularly enjoying it for under 20 bucks.
I really just bring this up because thanksgiving night, my friend came over and it was when I was playing it on the level it forces you to be amy and this 30 something year old nigger in his work carhart clothes and boots walked right in and looked at the tv and said "this chick Amy Rose man, this nigga sonic, yeah this dude sonic, he ain't got time for no bitches. he just wants to go fast and eat chili dogs and this hoe be following him like a lost puppy. you know that sonic, he fucks and ducks. he be out of her hedgehog house or hole or whatever the fuck they live in before she has time to get dressed., that's the way to live. get in get out, have a chili dog." and I was laughing at that for like an hour. I asked him how long he's been thinking about saying that exact thought to someone, and he said "shit, I don't know since like 1999"
