Just saw "free to play" on the Steam page, so my interest fell off a cliff.

eh, gonna wait and see how they want the contents of my wallet. in the end f2p is just a business model, it depends how it's implemented.

seems to be yet another open world survival/crafting with multiplayer and a hint of monster hunter. the genre is pretty much saturated with plenty of stillborn releases, only way to get people to even play your game is to make the entry as easy as possible.

I do like that it seems more focused on bosses and hope it can be a Monster Hunter of sorts. The traversal options also seem very neat.

that's what I thought, of a nexon game which is arguably worse... now I got almost 400 hours in it and all I spent was 10 bucks for the battle pass.

question is if they go all rust or more the valheim route. I assume a big part of the microtransactions are cosmetics, possibly with some account unlocks to make it a "full game".

1) theyve released the option to theme your PS5 after the prior UI of other Playstation models: PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4 and no Vita lmao. theyre trying to make this a limited time thing but backlash might be getting to them and they might make it permanent

2) Alanah Pearce, alledged lesbian, has left Sony Santa Monica Studios. She previously got the role as a writer during the production of GoW:R and has left without writing for a single game. She was then seen exiting the studios of IO Interactive with a suspicious white glob hanging from her lips, must be jobsearching

3) New games coming this december to PS plus include It Takes Two and some official Sony emulations of PS2 Classics Sly 2 and Jak and Daxter, along with the archetypal "mediocre threequel because we ran out of ideas" game: Sly 3
