As for a ban on “gender-affirming care,” I don’t think there’s any reason to think adults will be prohibited from taking cross sex hormones. And even if there is a ban, dude, you don’t pass. You can still wear your hair long and wear makeup and dresses if you want. I’m not even saying that to be mean, it’s just as a matter of practicality. Synthetic estrogen or whatever is not some miracle pill. You can still pretend to be a woman with or without it. I genuinely don’t get it.

“Is there even a future for me in this country???” is just such a jaw dropping statement to make when you are a likely multi millionaire for making video essays in your house. God forbid Trump voters were more concerned with rampant inflation and a housing crisis rather than “gender affirming care” and Ukraine. I’d feel real good about my future if I was raking in tens of thousands of dollars a month actually.

Going to do something that makes me cringe and agree with his angsty statement here. That's pretty much the long and short of it even if I don't personally think a nationwide ban on everything LGBTQIAWTF++++ is realistic (or in some cases, like child transition, even a problem). Although, as you guys have pointed out, Contra is extremely economically privileged and has a LOT of resources at his disposal. Last I checked, doesn't he literally own more than one home? If there is any significant crackdown on "trans rights" he's barely going to be affected. I wonder how many American troons will finally have to admit to themselves that "Terf Island" is actually besides Canada the most wildly progressive place on Earth to be trans and begrudgingly try to move here (please don't, though, we already have PhilosophyTube and that's bad enough).

In other words… even amongst Canadians, troons can’t get a date. Normal men and women do not want them, but even other gender freaks reject them in shockingly high numbers - about 45%. On top of that, to really drive those on the incel-to-transwoman pipeline insane, female troons can get laid easier than male troons. And when they do find a date? It’s almost always another man with gender and sexuality issues. Again, this is not my opinion, but an established fact:

Now, Hsu lies and says that GAMP men (tranny chasers) are TOTALLY NOT GAY!!!!1!1!1!1! But that’s not what the data actually says:

What you can see in this chart is pretty obvious. When you measure sexual arousal with tools, gay men don’t find women sexy, find male trannies kind of sexy, and find regular men the most sexy. Gay men are also pretty honest about what makes them horny. For straight men? Straight men find women sexy, find men the least sexy, and consider trannies sort of in the middle, basically the inverse of gay men, which makes sense, considering how troons are men who copy female sexual signalling via fake tits and lip injections. Straight men are, also, pretty honest. They understate how horny the GAMP images made them, but that’s probably because they understand that the fake tits on screen would look infinitely worse IRL.

Now… GAMP men? Tranny chasers? Yeah, they’re fucking liars, whodathunk. GAMP men find women sexy, find trannies sexiest, and men sort of sexy. They’re clearly bisexuals who like to be on top, and so their preferred women and men are effete. Furthermore, they LIE and say that they like women just as much as trannies, but the truth is that effete men are their preference. They don’t behave like heterosexual men or homosexual men because they’re a subcategory of bisexual men. Why Hsu et al. ignored their own data is beyond me. Either someone involved here is a tranny chaser desperately coping, hoping that people just read the abstract, or the big bosses stepped in and told Hsu et al. to stop being bigots. They’re cowards and faggots either way.

What’s important about Hsu et al. is that (1) tranny chasers are distinct from straight and gay men, and (2) tranny chasers are more likely to be trannies themselves. That conforms to what we saw in Blaire and Hoskin - the only people willing or happy to date trannies are other trannies.

These “straight trans girls” (read: gay men) want a heterosexual man because that means they “made it” and “pass” as real women. It also reveals how these “true and honest women” consider other, stronger males to be the true arbiters of womanhood. It doesn’t matter if Stacey calls you a man if Chad makes you his concubine, because the latter is the only one whose opinion matters in the mind of the HSTS troon. They have daddy issues, and it manifests in the need to find the love of a father in the body of another, more masculine man. It’s no different than Ed Gein digging up the corpses of and murdering women who reminded him of his mother, Augusta.

Being “picked” by a “straight” man makes them a real woman in their minds, since their definition of woman is tantamount to “people manly men want to fuck” and “people who like sucking cock”. That’s why they always claim that troons have the brains of their chosen gender without controlling for things like sexuality, which we know affects the human brain… it’s because they really do believe that there are “gynophilic” and “androphilic” brains and the latter should be deemed “female brains” despite the sexed nature of the neurons in question. It’s how Iran became #1 in sex change surgeries… by convincing gay people that liking people of the same sex made them the opposite sex, and that they should be mutilated accordingly or thrown from a roof.

Getting a straight man to pick them means they get to have a big, luscious white wedding. And that means inviting every girl who was prettier than them in high school and finally convincing their fathers that they really were women all along. HontraPoints, a bisexual man who primarily targets women and other crossdressing men, said as much in his video “Shame”:

As you can read in this unhinged screed, he clearly sees sex with highly successful men as “winning” “womanhood”. It doesn’t matter if he’s actually a bisexual man who prefers women and other effete dudes, his masculine competitiveness means he has to beat the other girls by marrying Prince Charming, even if he doesn’t want Prince Charming. And they accuse chasers and gay people of being “genital fetishists” who see others as objects. It’s also funny that Hontra says he wants to be “queen”, since he REEEE’ed about Michael Bailey’s book (archive), The Man Who Would Be Queen, which he describes as…

Unsurprisingly, like all other troons, Nick himself was disgusted when he became the victim of a skin-walking male creep. His ex, former friend, and fellow BreadTuber, Philosophy Tube, AKA Oliver Thorne, trooned out shortly after the publication of Shame, where I got that first Hontra quote from. Nick came out “as a lesbian”, and then his ex boyfriend also became a “lesbian woman” who paraphrased Hontra in his coming out video, and described Hontra as an “old dear friend”. Needless to say, Contra was grossed out and tried desperately to avoid mentioning Oliver, and even tossed some shade by saying that someone who wants to be you is inherently unappealing to date. I guess Nick is still capable of insight. Good for him.

And, again, this is not my take on the event. This is something that
even the troons themselves acknowledge. Oliver is trying to be his ex boyfriend by becoming a “lesbian” just like him. Nicky Rivers, another troon social media parasite, made this meme about it, but evidently took it down:

The notion that trannies use other people as props for their own sense of gender euphoria is well-established. Blanchard, I believe, spoke about the “pseudo bisexuality” of troons. Now, I don’t think there is much “pseudo” about it, but what he was describing was troons letting men fuck them because, to paraphrase Anthony Long Chu, “fucked is what female is” (archive). By letting a man use their body as a blowup doll, they feel they become women. It’s pseudo in the sense that the other man in question is not the focus, he’s a floating penis, like in pornography. Even though he punctuates his video essay to gender critical women by making a joke about his pussy being better than theirs. He then follows up this unhinged, macho, competitive display with, I shit you not, a chapter called “male socialization”, which he declares to be irrelevant to transwomen. The dude is so unaware of himself, and he’s actually the most palatable of the troon video essayists.

I like how his male socialization and agressive temperament comes out when discussing radical feminists. And for what crime is he so incensed? The vast majority of trannies that are killed are killed by their boyfriends; TERFs have nothing to do with it. In this video, which he made attacking TERFs, he has to end with an ancient video of a male police officer belittling some fat troon. But, you know, they dared laugh at his massive traps. Way worse.

And, in a classic display of genuine male socialization (that is, obliviousness to the risks being weaker and smaller entails), he never asks why he has do this. He doesn’t seem to question why the only people who seem to confront trannies IRL are people their own size. He calls women weaselly for insulting him anonymously, oblivious as to why women have to resort to covert methods. Men like him have made it financially and physically dangerous to be a “TERF”, and so, being women, and accustomed to avoiding male chimp outs, they laugh at him in ways where he can’t retaliate.

He attempts to bait them into coming out into the open so he can send a lynch mob their way, but I don’t think he understands that “getting up in someone’s face” doesn’t usually work with chicks. His attempts to bait them into revealing themselves so their jobs can be stolen are obvious. And this dude whines about cancelling, lmfao.

The final thing I will remark on is how all the people he lists - plumbers, for example, or nail technicians - are people he hires. In other words, people who have a clear financial motive to anticipate his wants and acquiescence to them. But, he’s a spoiled rich boy, so he never had to learn these things. He thinks plumbers are too stupid to look at a massive man in high heels, determine he’s a troon, and humour said troon to continue getting paid work. Nope, that’s far too complex, this plumber totally thinks Nick is a real-life Amazon. Sure.

I don’t think it’s even “post-modernism”. It’s simple capitalism. He is hiring people to do a service, or paying for goods from a convenience store. They are incentivized to anticipate his wants and respond accordingly. It’s just good customer service. Hell, “capitalism” may be too elaborate. This is barter economy type stuff.

He tends to be competitive, dominant, independent, linear, logical, and tough-minded. He might wish he were more feminine, but his personality is not naturally feminine. When he is honest with himself, he also realizes that he never falls in love with men and only feels attracted to men when he is in the midst of an autogynephilic reverie. He has cross-dressed for years and still does at times, but he finds that it offers him limited satisfaction: Even wearing sexy women’s attire, he still inhabits his unwanted male body and still has his ugly, embarrassing male genitalia. Falling in love with a woman or having sex with a woman sometimes makes his autogynephilic desires go into remission for a time, but these remissions are always temporary: His autogynephilic feelings always return. And every time he has an orgasm, he is reminded of two facts: Having a woman’s body is the most erotic thing he can imagine - and he doesn’t have one…

Probably it is also easier for an autogynephilic gender dysphoric manto pursue sex reassignment if he doesn’t believe in the concept of autogynephilia - or, more accurately, if he holds one or more explanatory beliefs that make his autogynephilic arousal or the autogynephilic underpinnings of his wish for sex reassignment seem more conventional or acceptable. These beliefs function to reassure him and others that his autogynephilic erotic desire to have a woman’s body isn’t the whole story - and isn’t even an important part of the story. What kinds of explanatory beliefs might be reassuring in this way?

One such belief would be that he really has a “woman’s brain” in his male body. Another would be that autogynephilia is not a paraphilia at all but merely a normal element of female sexuality. Yet another would be that he really had been destined to be attracted to men all along, but that his natural inclinations were suppressed by social conditioning and homophobia. Still another would be that the cross-gender fantasies that he found so exciting earlier in life no longer hold any erotic interest for him, but were merely a temporary mechanism for coping with his gender dysphoria. A final such belief would be that autogynephilia is merely an effect of his cross-gender identification, not the cause of that identification.

Personally, I consider such explanatory beliefs to be implausible at best, but I understand their appeal. I remember looking carefully at an MRI scan of my own brain in 1995, hoping to find a feature I could declare to be female-typical—at that time, the splenium of the corpus callosum was still a focus of interest (see Emory, Williams, Cole, Amparo, & Meyer, 1991) - and therefore use to justify my desire for sex reassignment. I also remember with chagrin a few weeks during which I tried to convince my therapist and myself that I was actually sexually attracted to men. Reason won't save us. Probably the best thing that could happen now is if SNL runs a sketch implying that Donald is a tinydick babyboy cuckold on the leash of the Heritage Foundation. Project 2025 would be scrapped the next day.

I'm grasping for crumbs of solace here. Elon Musk, RFK Jr., JD Vance-probably some pleasure will be had watching all these vampires suck each other dry. The Republican Party is a cult of personality, and the personality is 78 years old. We're waiting for one miserable old man to die, and then we get another chance to replace him with something less horrible.

I've been trying to figure out if there's a future for me in this country as a trans person in media, and if there are any plausible alternatives. I've updated my passport and other documents in case I need to leave quickly. More realistic scenarios include a blanket ban on gender-affirming care, in which case I'll have to hope I'm protected by the blue state I live in, or resort to DIY methods.

Project 2025 plans to criminalize pornography, and it defines all LGBT-affirming content as pornography. So there may be some threat to my career. It's possible I'll have to take down a lot of videos and avoid "promoting" anything L, G, B, and/or T in the future. If making videos is even still viable or worth doing at that point.

I'm aware that I'm very far from those most vulnerable to these things. More likely scenarios involve total bans on schools teaching anything about LGBT existence, bans on using students* chosen names/pronouns, etc. In which case non-institutional online content will be among the only resources young LGBT people have. And in that case, I'd better step it up, not pull back.

We could spiral about this forever. I know these thoughts are inadequate. How could they be? haven't scratched the surface-reproductive rights, mass deportation, Ukraine, replacing vaccination with colloidal silver or homeopathic essence of bear brain or whatever else RFK Jr. thinks is medicine. Etc. etc. etc.

Today I'm going to get back to work on the video I've been making since April. It's not explicitly about The Situation, but... it's not unrelated.
