I didn't know where to post it
The backwards rolling kiwi is a really cute idea and I would like to see a more complete and detailed one, actually.

But this corporate entity is completely and legally distinct from the Kiwifarms asset and the LLC(s) which hold it. Best not to imply a relationship. Jersh is on the board and has a fiduciary duty to the entity - his name is already burden enough to not also need Kiwifarms branding on it.

Same reason his Gumroad and streams are all distinct business entities from the forum and money to one can't be used to get perks on the other.

i think legs look better now
kinda want to keep the rock clean
maybe hard shadows only
Take some time for the holidays and come back with a fresh perspective. Also flip your canvas horizontally and work on it from the other mirrored orientation next time you do for a LITERAL fresh perspective.

I think it looks better with the boulder lines. also, the body is too thick on this one because of the shadow on the boulder. (IMO)

Could try adding some small dithering to the bolder, It's definitely better with this amount of shadow on the boulder. Definitely in that balancing stage with all the details coming together. You've done a fantastic job!

after looking the whole day at rocks and drawing of rocks i present to you nearly done Sisyphus
also slight changes to on of the legs
might be too complicated though

Huge improvement! Maybe it's just me, but the boulder is a little too round now. Either way, excellent work.

Also, the shading on the abs and toe could use a minor bit of improvement.

The over exaggerated muscles are very homoerotic, I think it would be more fitting to give him a greek statue physique (fit but slim) instead of making him a bulging roidmonster? The legs and knees look all sorts of weird too.

Would look much better without the weird melted knee and that weird line on the other leg.

i was mostly referring to the muscle anatomy when i did the initial sketch
the idea was to show that all the muscles under great stress
but legs gave me most of the problems so far
ill do a couple versions and see what fits better

Please consider this scaled leg proportion I was given by a knowledgable person. I really do stand by it. My opinion is that the legs and feet were and remain the most glaringly disturbing part (super roided monster legs and non-natural feet with odd toes) of your concept even as you've refined the upper body and rock so well. It just makes them stand out more and more every revision by comparison.

i did an overlap of 2 images and i cant do this sort of manipulations easily in the coreldraw since its all vector and image became too complicated to handle 910 objects at once
i might need to do another redraw and it will take me another couple of days to get to the point where i am right now
ill need to cook more it seems

The boulder looks very cool, but having it so overtly detailed and full of small shadows distract a lot from Sisyphus and his hardship IMO.

I'm also very disturbed by the fact Sisyphus and the boulder now seems to rest on different grounds. If you follow the ground line from Sisyphus' right feet it feels like the middle of the boulder is quite a bit closer than Sisyphus himself. But the longer I look at it the less it bothers me, I'm starting to see them more in line. Maybe it's just me, idk.

Oh, CoreDraw... I am only passingly familiar. What type of editable image formats can it save and opeb in? .psd, .svg, etc?One of us may be able to do some bulk transforms then send it back in an editable way for you again.

Damn, lost your guy's posts in the crash. Reupping his .cdr file since I cannot get ANY of my apparently .cdr compatible software to open it. If any of you can open this and get it into an svg or something, hook me up.

its not perfect but i did keep the same proportions (or at least close to it)
now the left shoulder seems too big compared to the legs
probably will do another one this evening
