Inking with and without sketchlines
I like this a lot so far. I do have some feedback too. It's a bit hard to tell because his body is posed, but I think he looks like he might be nine of his heads tall. The feet look big, so that makes me think there might be foreshortening, but the geometry of his body doesn't read like his body might be foreshortened like it could be from a slight worm's eye view. I think the path of least resistance would be to make the head slightly bigger. 8 heads tall is heroic ideal proportions and I think that's what you were going for.

Thought I'd take a crack at it, preliminary sketch. I can start inking today if approved. Thought frontal would be better cause he said its going to be used on signage and shit.

That'd make for a good coin design eventually. Measure your limb lengths (like literally, measure their lengths) and use a reference guide for limb ratios to fix those proportions.
Is the length wrong? Cause the hands supposed to come down just below the hips which I think I've done right. Or if you're referencing the hands becoming smaller, that's foreshortening which could be improved.

First of all, really cool
Second, you sure that you can make it distinct enough to recognize it in small sizes? Thats kind of the reason why we went with the profile shot to make silhouette as clear as possible
Third you might want to show that he is actually pushing the rock, because right now it can be mistaken as he lifting it. Maybe arm position, or some ground texture. Idk.
I can turn this into an SVG for you once you're done. I'll do it by hand so the lines don't have any harsh corners in areas that they shouldn't.
Do you mean, you will do some additional editing? Because i can save it as SVG myself. But if you want to change it a bit - sure.
I do have some feedback too.
I see that however that was semi intentional
I used one of the programms with the dols to get the exact pose right and since its in 3d the distanse start to play its role. And i just decided not to fight it.

I don't have many design changes.
Maybe the hatching on the arm could be changed a bit, but I was mostly just offering to make it into a vector for you, as I know a lot of vectors are made poorly, with lines not being connected smoothly or using too many weight points.
I use Rhino 3D for all my CAD modeling but I also use it for making 2D designs since I find it so intuitive.

I think I can yes, as long as it's not so crunchy that it's pixelated and still remains raster art, it would be fine.

I could, I wanted to go with something between Sisyphus and Atlas cause I feel like that was truer to what nulls aims are wrt to the internet but if it really must be pushing, I could make changes.

The foreshortening is REALLY aggressive, almost like a fisheye. For things like engravings or logos it is almost always more aesthetic when an orthographic perspective is used, or at least a more planar perspective. That is to say not foreshorting but making a stack of orthographic elements that are scaled slightly differently.

Just saw the Sunday stream. If needed, I am handy with adobe illustrator and can go over the final design so there is a vector file. Mind, I don’t mean using livetrace. I would use the pen tool and do it by hand. Here’s an example some of you will likely recognize. I can be way more detail-oriented of course.

I'm not sure how well it would work with your art style, and forgive me if someone else has already suggested this, but maybe implementing the Internet symbol into the boulder somehow?

If you look at the first sketch that I did, I actually had that thought.

I think it would work well with Atlas since he is already holding a globe, and it seems a lot of people had that image pop up in their head.

With Sisyphus, I'm not sure, however...

Like, do you make it a 3D object like some sort of skeleton globe? It will probably add complexity to the image and might mess with readability. Plus the horizon will be visible behind it. Not to mention it will remove "weight" from the idea behind the image.

If you make it a flat object, it will look better as a logo, but we are not there yet.

And the unevenness of the boulder makes it look like it's harder to roll rather than a perfect circle.

Interesting proposition! Would make an IRL engraving or coin die easier since that can tie it together better. Will probably need to ask the Sneeder in Chief his opinion eventually but I actually support this for a logo since it is fit for purpose.

I think maybe the legs should have longer lines parallel with the legs and be clear kind of like the chest. I think it would match the dynamics of the scene.

That wouldn't look as cool, though, nor would it fit the art style.
I think this progression of Prudential's logo offers a path where we produce a "formal" full art piece, a simplified easier to print version with the text, and then derive some modernized, simplified versions. It is extra work but it would be useful for making things like Official Letter Headers, Seals for documents, Merch to support the charity entity (I am quite certain that is legal). Very serious documents would use very serious forms and more mundane documents could use simplified versions. More modern forms can be distinct for specific purposes, like the sub-divisions of his charity's stated purpose. Press releases for items 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 could have their own version.

Sorry for double posting, but I asked a medical professional friend of mine I used to bounce my drawings off of for his advice. He went silent for 5 minutes and replied with this image then said, "I have seen a lot of human bodies. Usually you ask me for help with anime girl anatomy, I'm just happy it is a normal human for once."

He said that the upper body makes sense being so beefy considering the muscle groups that would be used for this pose.

Whats the name for the logo going to be, and is there a chosen font already?
