Just finished reading through this and I wish i can reclaim the time I spent reading through this slop. My quick review is that its OC/mary sue ridden slop with the backdrop of a human vs furry conflict. Any themes/political commentary that the author tries(if he even tried) to convey is nullified by a lack of continuity between chapters(and panels) and the shoving of OP OCs slaughtering the hecking human chuds. The only remotely amusing part is where the human supremacist faction commit mass murders on furries and callling them "furfag scums."Snip
So I guess that sperg on BWW was onto something?Just finished reading through this and I wish i can reclaim the time I spent reading through this slop. Well only a part of it. I think a big part of that BBW article is just spergs being spergs. That article's turbo autist author is taking a shitty furry goon slop comic too seriously. B4 i went into the comic i looked through the author's catalog in which I found the typical red flags of a gooner and went in with the comic equivalent expectations of watching shitty B movies. So I guess that sperg on BWW was onto something?
Aforementioned TFD(Total Furfag Death) panelsJust finished reading through this and I wish i can reclaim the time I spent reading through this slop. Yeah alot of the comic is unintentionally amusing. There was a scene where the humans gassed the furfags WW1 style which I think is meant to portray them as chuds, but all thats in my head is "BASED BASED BASED".That art is.... I know what they're going for but the little x eyes and everything just makes it unintentionally hilarious, like as if this is supposed to be considered humorous in the context of what's happening.
This sort of tonal whiplash gives me Freedom Planet vibes. Is there by any chance a scene where some of the characters are making cooties jokes before being violently tortured a few minutes later? That art is.... Idk about freedom planet nor are there a scene like the on you're describing, but theres a pretty amusing one where the chuddies used a jihadi bot to gasbomb a furfag demonstration. Note the faggot flag in the background of the first panel. The implication is kino. This sort of tonal whiplash gives me Freedom Planet vibes. The bad webcomics wiki page for this comic is pretty bad, not even really being critical of what it does wrong, more just giving an overview.I remember someone bringing up slightly damned on the bad webcomics thread, looked it up on the bad webcomics wiki and the author of the review quoted Mr Enter of all people on his review
Edit: gave that review a 2nd look and i completely forgot the guy who wrote it was a fan who was salty about being kicked out of the author's discord lmao
Facts not in evidence. He draws 1 degree better than your average deviantart tier sperg.once a decent artist
personally i kinda disagree and not because i like his degenerate works but I think that he is a decent artist since he worked for major comic publishers so he is at least not an awful artist and has some talent, if you check his gallery you find that yes this guy was getting jobs more often than you might.Facts not in evidence. He draws 1 degree better than your average deviantart tier sperg.
well glad to hear that, thanks.Thank-you for sharing all that. It was interesting to read.
Frankly, most furry artists getting paid for commissions today are much better. If Chuck tried to post his stuff today, it would get no traction for being simply terribly drawn. It's only tolerable when it's in the tiny comic page panel size and you can't notice his inability to draw straight lines or anything approaching reasonable anatomy.Facts not in evidence. He draws 1 degree better than your average deviantart tier sperg.

Looking at it, Bullet Crow is kinda garbage. The gags are mildly amusing and I like the black and white style but a lot of the layouts are unreadable and he CAN NOT do anatomy to save his life.Bullet Crow Fowl of Fortune:
Bullet Crow: Fowl of Fortune is an independent comic miniseries created by Charles "Chuck" Fiala, first appearing in the early 1980s. Originally published through contributions to the fan magazine The Comic Reader, Bullet Crow quickly gained a micro following with its mix of humor, satire, classic noir-inspired aesthetics, and of course bunny tits.
The series follows Bullet Crow, a hard-boiled, trench-coat-wearing crow detective navigating a world of anthropomorphic animals with coronary canary and of course Bonnie Bunny aka Phantom Bunny.
While Fiala primarily self-published Bullet Crow through fanzines, his work attracted the attention of both fans (*cough* furfags *cough*) and publishers, paving the way for later collaborations with established publishers like Eclipse Comics, where he continued to evolve the character.
Behind the scenes, Fiala's inspiration for Bullet Crow stemmed from his fascination with classic film noir and a love for cartooning, blending gritty crime tropes with a humorous, anthropomorphic twist. This early work showcased Fiala's inventive storytelling and artistry, which would later contribute to his diverse career across major publishers such as DC Comics and Disney.
I wanna see his Cool World comic actually. That film was a big tribute to underground shit that was awkwardly reprocessed and neutered by the execs. Wonder how he'd handle it.![]()
and yes once he started leaning to the "risqué" and basically furbait territory, you realize that perhaps Chuck's horniness led to his art decline(that's my headcanon at least)
also because i can't draw I'm a little soft on people's art but that's on me tbf.
I have a copy of Induction that I acquired for the explicit purpose of reviewing for this thread (lmfao). I've just been putting off reading it because I fucking hate transbians AND superheroes, so I needed a period of reading Actual Good Shit before subjecting myself to humorous self-torture via sloppy furry literature. Now that I know I'm not the only one curious over how funny/bad Korps is, I guess I'll crack into it in a week or so.Either way, if someone stronger than me wants to do a review I can provide the google docs of the stories in full for all to see.
