KR South Korean president declares emergency martial law, accusing opposition of anti-state activities

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an “emergency martial law,” Tuesday accusing the country’s opposition of controlling the parliament, sympathizing with North Korea and paralyzing the government with anti-state activities.

Yoon made the announcement during a televised briefing. He declared the step as critical for defending the country’s constitutional order. It wasn’t immediately clear how the steps would affect the country’s governance and democracy.

Yoon since taking office in 2022 had struggled to push his agendas against an opposition-controlled parliament.

No, stalker, it is you who are retarded. If people wanted children, child, they'd have them. If the rich saw having families as morally or socially valuable, they'd have their own armies of child children. Prices have never stopped the poor from having children in any other point in history. I oversimplified my last post a bit but prices are really only a part of it.

The sork corporate nightmare is culturally and morally sick, so despite having wealth, people are unhappy
South Korea considers money to be a moral virtue, so having kids is absolutely not virtuous because it consumes your time (which can become money) and money. This is why their MMOs are all dogshit and unbelievably pay2win too, they naturally think that having more money means you should be better in the game than other people. If the rich thought that having a lot of kids would make them look morally good and upstanding, they'd just have a lot kids, but their society places a negative value on children.

Wealthy and unhappy people don't have kids., Poor unhappy people still do, and the poorer SK was the higher their fertility rate was, so it's not a direct correlation with money. At best you could say that they have a lot of money to buy possessions and material goods, but with high housing prices they'd have to take a hit on their lifestyle to have children, and they don't want to. Rich people have kids because it's zero-effort for them, poor people have kids because they already live in a trailer with their extended family, but middle class people aren't willing to become poor to have kids.

South Koreans have very little cultural identity and don't see any value in preserving their dystopian hellhole anyway. Women and men despise each other, and over half the women don't want to get married and men are more concerned about maplestory politics than women. Would you expect that unmarried women are going to want kids?

SK President fucked up and didn't kindly ask the US for permission to do his coup. The US ambassador to SK probably called him a retard and told him to kill himself. Called the Minister of National Defense and the National Assembly Speaker to confirm that the President is retarded and the situation is being taken care of. Now they're biding their time and trying to not embarrass themselves answering questions from journalists.

I appreciate that the government has committed to monitoring the situation in South Korea by supporting Ukraine and rambling about the Middle East.

At the expense of rendering South Korea a third world hellscape that is even worse than North Korea.

South Korea has done research and found if North and South Korea unified, the influx of North Koreans into the south demanding the South Korean good life and having to rebuild North Korea from the ground up and trying to undo nearly 75 years of mindrape and educating a brainwashed and kept purposely stupid population would irrevocably destroy South Korea financially and socially. Because it would take two to three generations before North Korea can remotely integrate back into normal society.
