KR South Korean president declares emergency martial law, accusing opposition of anti-state activities

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an “emergency martial law,” Tuesday accusing the country’s opposition of controlling the parliament, sympathizing with North Korea and paralyzing the government with anti-state activities.

Yoon made the announcement during a televised briefing. He declared the step as critical for defending the country’s constitutional order. It wasn’t immediately clear how the steps would affect the country’s governance and democracy.

Yoon since taking office in 2022 had struggled to push his agendas against an opposition-controlled parliament.

For documentary purposes I feel its important to call out at this time that the 2 video stream are no longer in sync as they were for most of the night, a few mins ago the left stream went down for no more than 10 seconds but when it came back up it has a noticeable lag. Simply look at the white car on the bottom of the right screen and see its associated position at the top of the left hand screen. Just wanted this to be documented

Thank you, I've only been saying this for the past five fucking years that a society with angry men will lead to violence. The problem with your theory is war can't and won't be the answer. There's too many years of the VA treating men horribly for anyone to fall for the meme anymore. Look at the reactions to Ukraine. Young men were willing to mutilate themselves to get out of the draft. The violence is going to be turned against governments. Mass civil unrest is sprouting up everywhere and it has been for years now.
