You can think of it kind of like that for a rough idea. You can add to that exercise by doing this pose with your hand and slowly extending the thumb until you can actually see it poking out from that edge. The first thing you'll see poking out will be the first knuckle of the thumb, and it takes a while before you actually can.

Well it's certainly not a 'do' thread since Emily doesn't do much of anything. It's a fart-around-until-she-posts-something-she-stole thread at which point we roast her, whereupon she posts half a dozen recordings of nothing and declares she proved everybody wrong, because she can't see anybody saying otherwise, because she blocked them like a fat sow.

The only reason I'm even in this thread myself was because I clicked it on the main page out of curiosity, saw that the subject stole art, and I took personal offense to that as somebody who dabbles.

The whole "realism vs impressionism" argument is a pointless distraction since the initial complaint was Emily saying she didn't do realism. What she meant was she didn't draw real people. She was the one who didn't know what art terms she was using and got everyone off track.
