I often thought that if you took kids away from their parents they would turn different but it's really just younger version of mother. Such behavior is really a survival mechanism and it's basically self-perpetuating.

The few times I hanged out in his place I saw his mother saying he should be more patient and such with his sister because she's "sick" (which is an euphemism for her alcoholism) therefore he should be more understanding of her condition whenever they would argue.

There was this time where his sister was berating both him and his mother and he retaliated saying she should find a place for herself and leave both of them alone while his mother was trying to appease her while nagging him to not anger her because he should know better than to argue with an alcoholic person.

All in all it seems that his mother keeps (either directly or indirectly) enabling her unstable behavior.

I don't often tend to involve myself in his family issues but I imagine it would be very soul-draining to live with such relatives. I sometimes see in him that he's empty inside.

Yeah it’s rough out there. The advice foid therapists gave this guy shows just how completely unfamiliar women are about men and dating. To them, some guy who gives them the tingles will eventually swipe right on their profile on Tinder. Dating advice from women is useless. But it wasn’t like society was full of expert daters in the past. For the most part, the boys in the friend circle paired off with the girls. Then once you got a job you’d pair with your coworkers. Failing that some family member or the wife of a friend would play matchmaker. These days absolutely none of these options are common or advised. We used to live in a world where proximity was generally good enough. Now thots get “the ick” if a guy who is less than six feet tall breathes the same air.

The main takeaway from this would be to never trust a femoid shrink. Specially if you feel like offing yourself.

I've had three therapists so far. A curly haired New Yorker Jew man, a liberal academic old spinster woman, and an older fellow veteran. I've also had run ins with other psychologists.

Men have been way better, my experience with women in psychology and even sometimes psychiatry has been mostly negative.

When I was in high school, I had an older psychologist friend who was pretty helpful, took me under his wing while he was alive, and the reason I later got an interest in the field.

When I was already a few months on my way out of my enlistment, I was hanging in there by a thread and knew I needed help for civilian life. I had an intake woman psychologist on base refuse to help me because apparently my problems were not severe enough. I threw a fucking fit and had help from my fellow troops a week later to force them to see me.

Years later I had a single interview with a contracted old lady psychologist about my VA disability. She tried to decrease my rating which I fought and won against. She was a total cunt I poured my heart out about my trauma from home and the military, regarding the issues I still face from it. She obviously hated that I was a gay man for some reason too and was offended I didn't tell her. I talked about my ex-partned, and said "he" and she looked at me all wide eyed and tilted her head, "you didn't tell me you were gay!"

The Jew did okay and helped build my confidence back up.

The spinster let me vent a bit about my issues, but oh my God, she would not shut the fuck up about exploring diversity on my campus when I didn't want to. I would tell her that I'm more conservative minded, introverted and a bit older than most college students and I don't like faggots or troons. She told me to do tai-chi lmao.

She helped me process the past but couldn't help me with the future to plan worth a fuck. That confidence building and understanding just wasn't there. She didn't give a fuck about relationships either and is happy being alone, which I didn't want to end up like.

Eventually I got on testosterone when mine was low and causing mental problems. The VA refused to help me so I had to go to a local clinic. My mental health has been so much better.

My current veteran dude therapist is pretty good and encourages me to be more hands on and in the moment. Gives me homework too.

I went back to school for psychology to learn more in an effort to help better myself and other men who've been shafted.

This year I made a platonic best friend who's a dude and veteran like me around my age, so that's been the thing that's helped the most more than any therapist has. Having a brother to trade stories with and do hobbies or work with has been invaluable. He's basically adopted me into his family and I've met his friends. My lady friends are great, but that doesn't replace the friendships that I've needed with other men.

Men are indeed better therapists for men overall. Having a retarded bitch listen to your problems and offer no real guidance doesn't help jack shit.

The issue with modern society is it allows, and even encourages the physically and mentally weak and unfit to reproduce at even greater rate than anyone else while refusing to allow natural selection to work. From the welfare state to the fertility industry, all of it creates shortcuts around the normal hurdles one must go through to reproduce. This allows both men and women, who otherwise without these systems, might reproduce very little, if at all, to reproduce in vast quantities, and ensure that their offspring survive. So that's why it won't be eliminated through natural selection. Natural selection isn't allowed to exist.

But any eugenics program would be run by the people who either are currently running society and encouraging the propagation of weakness and inferiority, or run by the people who've taken over their position, who are now incentivized to do the exact same thing to maintain their station. So a more reliable way this could be solved would be for a global economic catastrophe that wipes basically everyone out and leaves the people capable of amassing resources as the ones who reproduce primarily. Actually not too unlikely to happen, if I'm honest. So no room temperature IQ scrawney liberal Californian boys having 20+ offspring because of sperm banks, and no man-hating 40 year old lesbians getting their six figure fertility treatment to have kids way too late in life.

Exactly. Evolution doesn't mean you go "higher" or "progress." It just means you adapt to survive in the environment. Agrarian civilization created a world where being smart gave you distinct reproductive advantages. Being able to plan for the next harvest, being able to keep records, and so on, all provided advantages.
