I’d be lying if i said I wasn’t immensely happy this happened. I hope it keeps happening and starts happening to bankers and hedge fund managers too.
I know some of the bigger bankers and hedge fund managers have very impressive security details.

It seems to me that if my going to work everyday just to make other people money pisses off enough normies that I need to spend more on bodyguards than most Third World dictators, I might want to rethink my choices.

I've always wondered why these retarded school shooters don't pick High Value Targets, like this. If you've already decided to end it all, why not make the world a better place by taking people like this with you, instead of going after helpless kids. Then I realize, that's what makes them retarded.

I hope they catch the killer and put him on trial. I also hope he's sane, stands trial, and explains his motive clearly. If it's a political/social motive, I hope he pleads guilty, accepts responsibility for what he did like a man, and goes to jail. After that, I hope CEOs realize that they are not immortal and the horrible things they do have tragic consequences.

The above scenario is what happens when a country's leaders and laws do not hold terrible people accountable.

Incredibly based killer. Total Corpo Death.
Hell yeah choom

So, he was shot for being a CEO or was it another robbery that resulted in a murder?
One of the articles said the shooter knew what door he was coming through, shot him, then escaped on a bicycle (was wearing a balaklava or some shit too)

It also said the conference went on as normal (he was attending a conference)

I think I read the above from the NYT article on it.

Knowing he would attend a conference isn't hard (someone find it and see if he was a speaker).

Knowing when and where he'd attend, that's trickier, and more suspect. But not impossible even for an outsider.

Straight fucking hit.

If I was a gambler, I'd place a bet that it was someone related to the McNaughton Case or someone in a similar situation. ( Nothing to lose, dying, United Healthcare fucked them sideways.)

Aside from obvious Glowies, they can't think beyond their worldview.

r/fuckcars is gonna have some explaining to do about this one.

His line is no longer going up.

Unclear if they didn't know about the shooting and its relevance to their meeting, but says a lot if they still went ahead with it (I doubt they did)

It also says a lot that this was for that company's annual investor conference and not some random conference - makes it much more likely that this was targeted.

edit: from tweeters I am reading from people who are definitely not normies or stupid they are all fairly confident that this was a targeted hit (just meaning it was premeditated, not necessarily an outsourced/contract hit)

There’s simply no feedback any more from the public to CEO level. You can’t jail them for poisoning people with their products. You can’t jail them for killing customers. You can’t even vote with your wallet because of ESG dollars short circuiting consumer boycotts. You can’t even vote at annual general meetings becasue most of the votes are massive pension funds. So there’s a discussion here to be had about the size of some of these corpos and their disproportionate and negative impacts on the ordinary man who has no way of getting restitution at all.

I’m not sure how anyone can live with themselves in these companies.

The executives going "lol another random shooting in NY" like my dude you're on the menu now lol

UHC recently did a lot of layoffs and are a notorious shit place to work. Could never imagine a disgruntled ex employee taking out their rage of being used and abused on the fucking asshole who's face they've seen plastered on everything. Corpos need to stop using their good for nothing C suite chucklefucks as mascots and "inspiration" for their peons. Does not improve culture at all.
