Plagued Lolicon/Shotacon Defense Force - The people who jerk off to cartoon children and won't ever shut up about it

If it relates to the thread topic enough, sure. Just don't let it turn into a full on furry thread and we good.
Fair enough, now that I think about it I should probably just discuss ARfags in general.

The fact that they take characters that are very clearly intended to be adults and throw in some weird magical shit that makes them younger so they can draw god knows what to them is absolutely fucking vile, even by creepy gooner standards. And much like Lolifags and Shotafags they have their own little catchphrases:
"It's all SFW!"
"Quit projecting! There's nothing sexual about this!"

They also tend to bring it up as a trope in fiction, ignoring how in said context it's clearly meant for storytelling purposes and isn't even remotely intended to be sexual. And how AR artists tend to also draw plenty of TF fetish art too, and are often open about that being a fetish. While with AR TF they immediately try to skirt around it and try to pass it off as a "harmless lighthearted SFW joke!".

And I don't want to give more "normal" TFfags that much credit, most of the time they try to avoid discussing how gross this sort of stuff is because they "don't want to start drama" and ban any mention of it.
Hmmm, never heard of what they are, yet for being furries & their "cub" crap, you bet there would be something fucked involved. My problem with lolicon assholes is their smugness and how they like defending their drug as if they want to be smug and "intelligent".

I've heard of people clowning Mutahar on Xitter already, with body size arguments, but no screenshots yet. Pathetic!
It's basically an adult character being turned into a little kid, they tend to have a bit of overlap with the Lolishota crowd. Just replace smugness with constant whining about how their art is all "SFW" while drawing piss and shit filled diapers in excruciating detail.

Dude are you fucking serious????

Vigilante justice should be rewarded. Gary Plauché didn't go far enough.
Yes, the guy (powerword: Erik Pruszynski) used to post creepshots of his little sister on 4chan, gloated about engaging in child sex tourism in Thailand, and he even got arrested for it, this post explains exactly what chrages were sought. He was eventually released, and now he can't be anywhere near minors, can't move from his current location (1000 BOULEVARD CHOMEDEY APP. 118, H7V 3X8, LAVAL QC), can't own weapons, can't be near or communicate with his sister, can't apply for a passport, and can only use the internet under his mom's supervision

This reminds me in a sense of lolis in otherwise normal anime that are just there. They aren't sexualized, the plot wouldn't change if they were adults, but they're there for... reasons, likely merch.

Oh! I see what you mean. Age Regression, as well as Transformation faggots. Crap, those fuckers are mighty suspect. There is nothing sexual, sure. Tyler Bryan JEW-art/TygreCub would say otherwise.

...
Fuck this asshole. He would have raped his sister! Destroyed her life in fact. He should be thankful he didn't get a beating for his "fun and games". Life isn't The Coffin of Andy and LeyLey", and his sister wouldn't enjoy incest with a freak like him.

Also his address, lol. Chomedey. more like CHOMO-dey, huh? (Or Chi-Mol)

I watched the show "Tanya the evil" last week, and that's exactly what I thought. The show doesn't sexualize Tanya, but I felt sure that the gimmick of her really being a mid-thirties middle manager has got to be some kind of justification. Also I don't know why people keep saying it's a good show because the stakes were so low, and after the 12 episodes I just couldn't care about it.

It's about marketing and making money from merch sales in those cases. Lolicons are mega whales. It's a very cold calculated way to milk your ENTIRE fanbase. Half support you for the story, half support it just because there's a loli in it.

Also having an "evil loli" used to be interesting for like a minute back in the day. Juxtapositions make for interesting concepts if done right, and when you have essentially an entire category of "evil/apathetic lolis" made, things get dull real fast.

The hook in that sense was that the loli was basically a creepy horror movie doll. Like horror movies though, it's often done cheaply and isn't "le spooky", it just devolves into more lolishit.

Ah shit, actually wasn't Sadako the original evil loli, then? Or was there like a movie Shirley Temple did where she was the killer? So it's not even a new thing that popped up in recent years, it's pretty old.

I give a lot of credit to Chucky ngl, the little doll bastard with a knife, it just floated over to anime through osmosis.

Then he tries to make me watch something else called "great teacher (something)" and it was about a teacher trying to get highschool girls!!! I didn't make it past halfway into the first episode and I said to him "what is this pedophile shit!?" That nigga is training to become a teacher.
Onizuka is pretty explicitly portrayed as a scumbag and a loser for having such motivation. He only reaches that conclusion because he thinks it’s an easy way to lose his virginity, but the entire thing is an intentional veneer of what a high school boy would fantasize being a teacher is like. His first instinct with his students is their well-being, he’s clearly attracted to women his own age (and a tranny that one time, but it was a fantasy anime tranny). It’s a vehicle for you to point and laugh at him during slapstick moments, and a starting point for his real motivation of actually becoming a great teacher (which does not, in fact, involv having sex with fifteen-year-olds at twenty-two).
I won’t argue the merits of any fanservice, as that’s entirely a personal taste, though I will qualify that the physiological traits focused on are post-pubescent rather than the lolicon/pedophile’s attraction to pre-pubescent traits.

Onizuka is not for the faint of heart ngl. I consider it a product of its time, mid 90s japan. Onizuka, objectively, not a great dude. He becomes better as the show progresses.

The show also never crosses the line. It'll get right up to it, with reason. It's to show the absurdity, to teach a lesson, or for actual character development. It takes chances. I don't agree with everything in it. The humor is certainly crass and would not air today. It's also what keeps it from being just another high school ecchi anime. It has a point at the end.

I have been told this before by the same roommate, but my initial reaction was pretty harsh like "what the fuck are you making me watch?" It seems pretty difficult to actually try to engage with anime in any current way and avoid this sort of thing.

Is it really so unbearably sad being a Japanese adult person that they don't even bother making stories about adults?

Again, I don't blame you for noping out. First episode makes him look like a shithead (because he is).

As for your second point, there ARE those stories. Quite a bit tbh. They don't receive nearly the same recognition because anime until recently has mostly been targeted towards teenagers. It's called seinen. Those are the more adult oriented stories.

Anime and manga are, at their core, disposable media aimed at boys ages 13-17. A vast majority of manga are going to be produced with that in mind. GTO, which I would argue is about a young adult maturing as he helps others who themselves are entering young adulthood, is an outlier in that it is a sequel whose fans, were they 15 when the original started, would have been 22 like Onizuka when GTO started, which puts your roommate right at the intended demographic. Ultimately, I will never support the neo-puritanical push that the portrayal of a concept, even in a negative light, is promotion of said concept.
There are manga about adults dealing with adult problems, but the market there is much smaller. Adults in general should not have sequential visual media comprise the majority of media they consume.

This is a good point. You've all given quite a lot to contemplate, and I greatly appreciate it. Maybe in this instance I'm just trying to find the devil under every bed.

I mean ultimately you know your roommate better than us. This thread here is a freaky one. It makes the world look dreadful just due to the never ending feed of lolicons we find. Is your roommate that? IDK. Could just be he likes Higurashi and is numb to the lolishit- which if you're deep into anime, that happens, you learn to ignore it. Sad but true. Your roommate sounds like a awkward dude ngl. It might just be that.

OH WAIT HOLY SHIT

@Ex Fed Adam Bush 911 by any chance was the Higurashi show you were watching Higurashi GOU? Because if it's Gou, no wonder you were creeped out by it. That show's absolute shit to begin with and upped the ante on the loli fanservice, you should've been starting with the original series if you were to have gotten into it.

Just now discovered this thread. I actually have a story about dealing with one of these fuckers irl.

These people should be shot.
Welcome!

I'm sorry you had to deal with an IRL lolicon person. Can't imagine how that guy must have smelled....Glad you cut him off the club.
I like how the pervert is a jacked army looking guy. The type of people who are interested in little girl ass are fat, greasy fucks.
