For the love of God, Autumn, stop watching anime and shows aimed at teenagers and children, lol. If she did that, she wouldn't have anything to complain about. And "mediocre male characters"? Is she referring to shonen protagonists like Naruto and Izuku/Deku as mediocre? I'm sorry if I sound incredibly autistic, but I often dislike the trope of female characters being bitchy/mean for no reason at all, it just comes off as the writers trying to break "gender norms" by making them bitchy/sarcastic to show off how much "smarter" they are to the male main lead, which is often what a lot of people have a problem with, which is the writing, not the character itself.
