Get Out - White People Be Scary

I feel like this is supposed to be one of those Scary Movie type of movies, but with a lot less cheesiness to it.

From the trailers at least, it seems like this movie is taking itself entirely serious, but since the quote from the creator says its satirical, I'll just wait until it actually comes out and see if it gets actually funny or stays within the whole "Every white person is an evil mastermind" weird thing its got going on. I would only watch it if it's got a schizophrenic breakdown scene like that one guy in the thread said.

Sadly, I wouldn't count on it.

Alrighty then, so it's entirely based in racist ideaology, good to know so that I can avoid this like the plague. Sometimes I wonder what people think when they do shit like this, is it just okay to be racist when they do it? We've come full circle now, all the way around to black people making racist flicks about white people for the sole reason that it's acceptable to do because of recent racial hate rising between the two groups.

White People are scary, such an apex predator that if English Mistery succeeded then all of the Americas, Africa, and Asia would have been nothing but a pile of skeletons.

This is an interesting concept. Take the preachy SJW aspect out of it, and the backlash, and take the movie as it is. It could work well as a satire or real film in my opinion.

I feel it's making fun of the leftist media and how it tells black people to be afraid of whites and how they're all trying to "get them"

Saw it and the entire thing is a satire lampooning the trope that black men always die first in horror movies. If there was any anti white stuff I either didn't see it or it flew way over my head.

That's what I hear. Won't change the usual people saying the thing was completely serious and "a blow against the White Patriarchy" or something.
