@Null
This isn't really a suggestion but this made me smile

1. Unconditionally convert all images to .webp so everyone bitches and moans about not being able to open them with their favorite image editor.

2. Put "Right click > save image" behind a paywalled membership and add a watermark at the bottom saying "KIWIFARMS.NET".

This should help save a lot of bandwidth :)

@Null I know this thread may be old by now but it's the best one I could find...

can you PLEASE put the Guidelines and rules on the main front page? lol '; took me a while to find them, had to be linked to know this is SFW???
For context, this is an genuine retard who has an history of filming herself naked in an attempt to own us.

Niche case

I mostly browse on Brave on mobile. I have it set to delete all browsing data when I close a page. This logs me out of everything.

When I open KF and browse a thread, I'll find something I want to react/reply to and log in to do so. It seems that logging in from any page takes you back to the home page, and I have to go back a page to get to the post I want to react to. This gives me a message saying the user has changed and to refresh.

Is it possible to change this so that logging in keeps you on the page you are on instead of sending you to the home page?

This is mostly relevant to A&H stuff but it would be great if a user could set their own preferences for the highlights feature. Maybe a user wants to ignore dislikes, islamic and autistic ratings. Or maybe only take into account "informational."

I suspect it's a global process that would be a lot of work to turn into an individual thing for everyone but a kiwi can dream

A requests board. Could be artwork, could be that meme that you can't find. Unlike 4chan no need for /wsr/ since /r/ is basically "CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP THE CLOTHES OFF THIS WOMAN"-type shit.

What about a "remind me" feature where you can get a scheduled notification reminding you to read a certain comment? It would be perfect when you come across someone's post that basically guarantees that there will be a hilarious outcome in the future. Like one about a LOLcow making a big deal over something that to everyone else will clearly crash and burn hilariously in about six months.

@Null does the forum have a REST API? I'm reading that it's supported in xenforo 2.1+, but i'm unsure if its enabled or usable here.
The reason I ask is because I've been playing around with web archival tools and have been thinking about looking into making a bot profile that users could DM URLs to and get DM'd an archive of each back, and an API endpoint would make that way easier than messing around with selenium or something retarded.
I have a couple dozen terabytes of unused redundant storage on my rack and would like to get into providing a free web archival service, but don't really want to set up a website and frontend.
