I thought he came across pretty well, actually. The fact that leftist idiots (i.e. my side) consistently respond to any platform being given at all to someone who contradicts our narrative in a funny way by throwing temper tantrums and treating any appearance of this guy at all as being a literal Nazi rally is incredibly disappointing.

Seriously, Maher is doing more for freedom of speech than any other fake liberal who demands that opposing opinions be shut down.

so of course the Daily Beast and a bunch of other left-leaning clickbait factories are running stories about how Larry Wilmore owned/wrecked/took to school/etc. Milo by telling him to shut the fuck up on the Overtime segment.


no love for the spy dude who said it kind of jokingly and was obviously not letting Milo get under his skin, because that would be celebrating someone behaving like an adult, and apparently that's haram now.

Cracked recently ran (another) article revealing how triggered they are that people are allowed different opinions from their leftist hivemind and got a lot of shit in their comment section (though, the number of rational people in the Cracked comments is depleting day-by-day as people are getting sick of their bullshit).

I think the positive comparison between Hitchens and Milo was a bit of a stretch, but Milo gave a good show. Since his specialty is style, I'm not terribly surprised.

However, I do wonder sometimes if the left needs Milo. He's a solid package of identity labels that often contradict, but the left doesn't seem to see or understand that people can be self contradictory.

I thought Maher and Milo both looked pretty good, but they really did a lot of talking about nothing. Neither is a political commentator, they are both entertainers who focus on politics in their entertainment. One of the major problems with political discourse in the US is that people mimic these people and take cues from them about what political discussion is. Another problem is political discussion, period. It's pointless. Social, economic and technological discussion is more useful, but politics is based so much on feeling and opinion that these guys become "leaders" and we get a reality star as president.
