Joh and Polissa aren’t routine care and maintenance people. I’m 100% sure “dental work” means “extraction”. She’s already missing at least one already, and Joh has posted about his teeth being totally messed up.

Many years ago spouse Meatball saw a patient in the ER who there for severe stomach pain. She was missing all of her teeth and had no dentures. When asked about her recent diet, she reported that she had been eating canned Walmart tamales pretty much exclusively because they were cheap and required no chewing. Polissa’s Jimmy Dean Bowls seem to require little chewing (especially when washed down with Mello Yello), so she can just carry on normally no matter how many teeth they have to yank.

I’ve never felt like more of a failure for still being single in my whole entire life until I finished this thread.

It reminds me of Penny of the Tranch and how he has a "chewing side." You've got to let things go for decades to get to that point. I feel bad for people who didn't receive proper dental care because of poor parenting, etc., but there comes a point where the person has to share some of the blame and take charge of their own health as an adult. We all know that will never happen with Polissa though.

This country has a million sad stories of low income families who can't get proper dental work for a family member in pain. The only time I ever sat someone down and advised them to get a high interest title loan on their paid off car (cringe!!), was when one of their cheeks was bulging out from several molars that were absessed. I though that poor woman was going to die.

If Polissa ACTUALLY gave a shit about poor people and politics, dental care among Alabama's rural poor is where she could "raise awareness" and actually do some good. She could tell everyone about local sliding scale clinics, some of those dental charities that roll around in RVs to rural areas, etc.

But instead we get anti-capitalist screeds about loving Disney movies and making popcorn decorations.

Times are tough right now and I bet you could do good numbers with a social media account doing short videos on how to do low cost/no cost christmas things. A fat matronly southern woman would be a great persona for it too. Two minute clips on making low cost comfort food, or decorating a tree with nieces and nephews could tap into a sense of family and community. Most people clearly aren't going to do any of this shit, but most people who watched Nigella Lawson's cooking shows didn't make her food either. They watch someone else do it and feel like they're participating.

The "Dollar Tree Dinners" lady on Tiktok (and youtube) went viral for her 20 dollar Thanksgiving Dinner for 4 people. There's a ton of room on social media for showing poor people how to cook basic meals for their families. Middle class people also like to watching these videos, since most of us have been broke at some point in our lives.

The Dollar Tree Dinners lady correctly pointed out there are strugging families without a car who might have trouble getting to a major grocery store, but might be able to walk to Dollar Tree and bring home a bag of canned and shelf stable food. It's not about getting the best deal, it's about teaching people to do the best they can with what they can realistically get.

If Polissa wasn't lazy and stupid (LOL), she could take 20 bucks from her gibs check to Dollar Tree and show people how to decorate a small room for Christmas. Get two of those 1.25 dollar 6 ft "pine" garlands and string a tree shape on the wall. Grab a pack of cheap ornaments to tape on the wall-tree as decorations. Use construction paper to make a star for the top and a paper skirt for the bottom. That's 5 bucks for a decorated "tree" that doesn't take up floor space.

Draw Christmas pictures of Santa, Frosty, etc. Use construction paper to make "frames" for the pictures and tape them up on the wall. Buy a 1.25 roll of christmas wrapping paper, cut it into shaped pieces and string them in a garland. Get a christmas candle for the table and decorate around it with more quaint construction paper cut outs.

I'm a moron and I can figure out how to decorate half a room with 20 bucks at Dollar Tree. Polissa could probably stand in a Dollar Tree and just ask other shoppers what they would do, an easy way to get ideas.

The book about the low IQ guy who temporarily gets smart, but then regresses into an idiot again? Makes sense Polissa would like that book, when she has so much in common with the beginning and the end.

The last two days in her area were high of 53 degrees (11.6 C) and low of slightly below freezing. With her level of body fat and the fact that she never goes outside, I have a hard time believing she felt frozen. But she probably had to wrap herself in a blanket because she was too fat for a sweater.

Do you remember that woman in LA who made vlogs of her riding a scooter around her urban neighborhood screaming at people? She was well known online. Polissa is obnoxious and entitled enough to do something similar if she was willing to confront people in public.

The scooter lady would drive full speed down sidewalks yelling at everyone to get out of her way. She'd even scream at confused homeless people who didn't move fast enough. Then she'd go into these low income ghetto stores and yell at the cashiers because the store wasn't handicapped accessible enough for her scooter. Whenever the over-worked cashier took an extra minute to open the door for her, she'd scream about that too.

Polissa could go into convenience stores and scream about capitalism making the Doritos too expensive. Then she could go to Auto Zone and scream about how poor people can't afford cars so HOW DARE THEY take up a storefront with their borgeous car parts. If she could get someone to drive her to an upscale department store, she could stand outside yelling at "rich" people walking out with their purchases.
