Careercow Taylor Lorenz - Crybully "journalist", self-appointed Internet Hall Monitor, professional victim, stalks teenagers for e-clout

  • Happy Easter!
I can't blame her. TayTay could dox a thousand innocent people in attempts to ruin their lives and she still wouldn't be as bad as your average health insurance CEO.

I don't blame her either, but Taylor's problem is that she doesn't know how to stay in her lane. Taylor wants to keep LARPing as a Respected Serious Establishment Journalist, and she wants to make edgy posts calling for the assassinations of CEOs. One of these roles precludes the other.

A normal person would deal with these conflicting desires by creating a sockpuppet account and using that to get all the trolling out of their system, but apparently that idea has never occurred to her.

Sorry for the double post, but turns out there's a good chance the article Taylor quote-tweeted when calling for the assassination of a CEO was an American Society of Anesthesiologists press release with the serial number filed off. Don't have time to look into it right now, but I had my suspicions that some context was missing as soon as I saw the articles:

In other words, Taylor the "misinformation expert" fell for some media misinformation, and then immediately went and did a stochastic terrorism based on it.

Credit where credit is due: based
Credit due is 0.

Ms Lawrence is simply trying to flail as an ever more schizo edgetard to show what a cool and hardcore bandwagon supporter she is, as she has done a thousand times before, and if someone came within a thousand miles of saying this about her she would be throwing a protracted public screaming shitfit over how scared and persecuted she is by internet nazi psychos.

When someone whose entire existence is straight up cancer decides to hate something/someone you also hate, its always best to assume they are doing it for the shittiest fucking reasons imaginable and should continue to be treated with the contempt they deserve.

I think regardless of how you feel about the assassination, it's amazing to have an example of someone crying about imaginary death threats (people are making fun of me) to declaring a jihad on all healthcare executives in the span of 24 hours. Truly impressive sociopathic behavior.

Seeing Taylor's increasing loonyness (yes, she's always been loony, but she seems to be speedrunning it of late) makes me wonder if her wealthy family has been distancing itself from her. Granted, she seems to have started it re: the four (is it now five?) years not attending family functions because of the coof. But being isolated from one's family, especially a family that can actually  do things for you, can affect one's sense of security, paranoia, outrage (and outrageousness) etc.

Either that or she's developed/nursing a major substance abuse issue. In any event, she is being really goofy of late.

Or the fact that she lost her stable, comfy WaPo job, and now she's desperately trying to make it on her own, and finding that she is not, in fact, able to pull in a comfortable income as an independent journalist.

I think it's also the dawning realisation that she's simply just not that important. Her entire career has been a huge astroturf and the media companies have been pushing her relentlessly. Same with Ben Collins. All of a sudden she's just... a quickly fading never-was.

On the plus side there is hardly a better place to enjoy the self destruction of a mentally ill piece of shit than here with the niggers of kiwifarms.

Dunno if anyone here has posted this. (If someone has I'll gladly accept a "Posted It Again" award.)

Here's Taylor not so subtly inciting for the assassination of another CEO.

Taylor Lorenz is straight up inciting her followers to murder jewish women solely for the sake of her own clout farming operation......shit is gettin fuckin bananas out here

Same with Ben Collins. All of a sudden she's just... a quickly fading never-was.
Ben Collins still had his family/trust fund to buy him The Onion so he could do he could have a tiny bit of relevance.

Taylor ostracizing herself from her family could mean she doesn't have that to fall back on.

Yep. She saw that journoscum like Matt Taibbi, Matt Yglesias, Nate Boron, etc. were making more money on Substack than their legacy media gigs and she assumed she’d be in the same boat. Taylor in current year plus nine is nothing more than a punchline. She’s spiraling down the drain faster than Kurt Eichenwald did. The only attention she gets is when people laugh at her, which unsurprisingly doesn’t translate into Substack subscriptions.
