Sometimes these things develop over time. A kid who might've seen/loved "Sing!" could end up doing fanart/fics of his or her favoroties characters during their teenage years or beyond (like a weak nostalgia moment). I know this sort of thing was true of films like Robin Hood or maybe Animalympics (another furry bait example), something you saw as a kid that sticks with you years down the road, beyond the expecations of their producers for anything more.

Yes, that's what I think will happen. Give it at least a good 5-10 years tops (of course in the late 90's, I was already seeing fansites to The Lion King and Balto pop up)!

I think someone mentioned it before, but the whole reason I don't think a movie like SING is going to take any sort of root with furries is because it doesn't have fuck-tier animals like foxes and rabbits as main characters. It basically may as well be a Bug's Life or one of those CG movies with talking monkeys .

There has been some controversy with Furlist. The site used to be open to all visitors until it got negative attention for some of the groups they were hosting, such as cub, pozzing, zoophilia, etc.
The site now requires you to make an account through your Telegram account. Gotta protect them furries, I guess.
(I'm thinking that this is just an innocent group made by a young teen, but it's fucked up site mods would even allow putting this on a site visited by mostly grown horny adults, some who also jerk it to young animals)
I may look through some groups and post shit if I find anything interesting to discuss and ridicule.
