Some rumors have been flying around today about the potential next television series. Mind you these are merely rumors, but evidence seems to suggest that they might be true. A reporter with Knight Edge Media released this story today teasing some info, claiming that a couple of episodes are already finished.

If you had any hopes about this new animated series being good, abandon all hope now as everything the non-retarded fans feared seems to be coming true.

An Avatar YouTube channel also covered the reported leaks in a video.

On other note, someone on the subreddit for Avatar posted what appeared to be a storyboard sketch earlier today that seems to match what the above article and video are describing. The mods have since taken it down, but if it was a true sketch it does help verify what is being said here.

If you still have any skepticism about what is being said, a Redditor pointed out the leaks actually matched plot points that Bryke had originally wrote for the series before heading in a different direction for the show. Make of that what you will.

Too much stupidity in where they're taking the series to comment on but I will say.
1. Getting rid of the 4 nations for "Havens" makes the series lose another part of it's unique identity. What the difference between this and RWBY now?
2. A disabled female Earth Bender (Toph 2.0) who grew up in poverty and had to come to grips with her powers (Comics Kyoshi 2.0). Real original.
3. Moving the story forward to modern tech is also stupid. Where is a bender's place in a world that doesn't need them anymore? I thought Korra attempted to answer that question.
4. Korra has ascended to be the ultimate Mary Sue. This is one decision I actually like as it cements her being the worst character.
5. Dualist Buddhist philosphy with Light/Shadow spirits is retarded. A clear line of succession when Aang was the spiritual incarnation of the planet. All this spirit shit ruined something simple.
6. Roku had a twin brother? Was he somehow evil and didn't have a beard because Roku did? This is soap opera tier writing.
7. It should be increasingly obvious that Bryke or whoever's in charge of the series now has no idea what they're doing.

I remember seeing a post awhile ago about an anon trying to unfuck the lore. Looks like they arn't going to follow it.

I would have preferred if she lost her face to Koh. Or if LoK never existed.

Those two are like George Lucas, they need a person to tell them no. Why they couldn't bring back Aaron, who knows, but him telling Bryke no is why AtLA is so good.

Can it work if it was done by the same team as Avatar? Yes.
Will it be good with modern writers? No.

Having a bender without an arm could be interesting, especially if she makes her own bending style after struggling with it, but having her be without a leg means she's either static in a wheelchair or has her own "magical artificial leg that doesn't reduce mobility unless it gets damaged in a battle".

Having it even go further in the future tech is retarded and doesn't make sense considering the earth avatar should be born very soon after Korra's passing. Nevermind this should make the airbenders extinct again due to the scale of the cataclysm unless the writers just handwave that they all survived. The only way it works is if there's a full cycles of Avatars in-between. The haven shit sounds like they just ape the turtle cities in Korra S2.

Sibling drama is better than love triangles, but I really doubt they would pull Arcane S1 and has actual spite between the sisters rather than them immediately accepting eachother until some misunderstanding breaks them apart temporarily. Avatar sister also guaranteed to die to have the heroine take her place and become a full avatar.

Like every "my waifu" heroine, she is assuredly a lesbian.

This franchise has the same issue as RWBY. It's only relevant because people are nostalgic for when the show was in it's prime. The creators hoped it would become the next big thing, but it actually peaked early and it's been downhill ever since. It even has the last minute lesbians the creators tried desperately to save a sinking ship.

And both can only be saved by retconning the latest entries that everyone hates, and firing the current writters. But they can't because that would be "LGBT erasure" aka a dei bad publicity nightmare. So they are stuck trying to save a failed franchise somehow. A franchise that could have been a multibillion dollar juggernaut but was ruined by idiot writters.

If Korra had been successful they would be continuing her adventures instead of trying to stealth replace her with, soft reboot, aka yet another time skip. Just saying.

Man, i'm really tired of all this franchise.
Met the same fate as Dragon Age:
  • First part is awesome as fuck (ATLA/Origins).
  • Second part is somewhat bad (TLOK, but with a huge margin against DA2, which is still competent).
  • Third part is lorewise lost (this shit, but very much more than DA: I).
Why a female thought? Last time didn't work.
Isn't more appealing to make a Avatar underdog character, rising from the depths of hell, misery & death and reaching to the top...?
Oh, i forgot: modern writers.
They are a bunch of faggots.

Pure fanfiction. Disabled asskicking MC girl with awesome superpowers in cyberpunk dystopia created by former reincarnation plus obligatory favored twin cliche, sounds more like a first draft pumped out by some ChatGPT clone. And kinda desperate tbh. Instead of creating a believable future for the nonsensical events in LoK, it's just tabula rasa doomsday reset.
(Also, how is the reincarnation cycle supposed to work without the 4 nations, that was a really important plot point in the original series.)

Some further leaks have been revealed. I got these ones off of the Avatar subreddit. These appear to be storyboard sketches, with one of them looking similar to the one I saw yesterday that got taken down. If true they don't backup everything that has been reportedly revealed so far, but they do corroborate some of the details that have been leaked thus far.

They boarded out an entire run cycle that gets closer to the camera... are the overseas animators that stupid?

Also those character designs don't say Avatar in the least. Where are the Asian influences? It looks more like a Western influenced future fantasy. I already hate this and will be avoiding it like the plague. Fuck you Bryan and Mike.

Man, Avatar became Nu-Voltron so very quick nobody repelled.

What is with these people and designing one-legged characters using specialized expensive running prosthetics 24/7 instead of normal day-to-day use prosthetics?
Also, since when do impoverished orphans have prosthetics, period?

It's because it's the future where everything is cyberpunk and technology doesn't fit with the setting

Assuming these are the real designs, how in the holy fuck is this girl black? In the world of avatar there are only inuits and asians. There no blacks, whites, indians, abos, native americans or what ever else. The world building is very clear about the four nations and their conflicts because that's the story and why avatars are a thing.

Because these people work on the setting now:

There's at least one Indian, Guru Pathik.

They literally look like Voltron rejects. Where is the Avatar-ness? Where's the Asian inspiration? I've often complained that Korra as a whole was about as Asian as a california roll but this doesn't even have that. It's as Asian as haggis or hot dogs- aka, not at all.
