For Elliot, all interactions are a measure of social power. People like this are nothing new, they tend to wind up in middle management positions in companies where their existence becomes a never-ending quest to prove their superiority to those below them and justify their own existence to the people above them. But Elliot is a bit different than those, though the mindset is absolutely similar.
There is nothing in this world Elliot likes more than having power over other people, and Elliot's troonery is entirely centered upon consolidating that power. It's why in any social environment, the
first thing Elliot does is either flex his authority, try to threaten someone, try to force them to heel under threat of social stigma (Elliot fucking
loved COVID hysteria for this), or flat-out start making demands. Elliot specifically chooses targets based on inability to fight back, like any good bully.
It's worth noting that Elliot fucking
hates other transgendered people - mostly because they show, just by existing, that Elliot's whole reason for doing this shit is power. And that, right there, is the ugly core of Elliot. He doesn't
want to pass. Instead, Elliot wants to force you, ideally using the arm of the state, if not threat of online excommunoication, to
say that he does, knowing full well he doesn't - because that means he has power over you and that is the sole reason he does
anything.
