I'm not sure why the hell anyone would want to move to Cambodia of all places, either.

Diaper pedo brigade still rushing to Shmorky's defense.

Oh look, it's the person with an adult baby addiction from the TV show My Strange Addiction. Funny, I didn't think someone who went on television to tell the world how comforted they are by a wet diaper had any room to judge others.

Can we PLEASE end the fucking "I left my kids alone with shmorky" BS? It absolutely never happened. And Mandy, I still have your 2-page lawsuit threat against the Pleasant Hill Police Department where you were threatening to sue them for $90 million because they pulled you over when you were fucked up on Kratom and then you claimed it was because they were "anti-semitic" and knew somehow you were a Jew and you claimed you had never been this traumatized since 9/11, and to show proof, you took a photo of you cutting up your arms like 50 times with a knife.
Upload, plz?

You have a really great point there. But is there a chance that Shmorky could have done it himself, and was influenced by partydog.

Artistically speaking, that is a very very easy style to replicate. If you had basic knowledge of photoshop you could probably do it within ten minutes. The sandypants style has more technical skill to it, implying the person had been drawing longer. The partydog one has shaky lines and the bodies have uneven proportions. The sandypants one is much cleaner and has more attention to the character's construction.

I really think it was the Shmorkster creating everything for sandypants.

I say "no".

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1446487/ Sandy started using the paper cut-out airbrushed story book style 8 years ago while Patydog http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2007150/ only started 7 years ago and that's not even going into the Peachesthepuppy art http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/peachesthepuppy/

I think Partydog did some weird experiments while doing Shmorky's art and then incorporated them into his own art a couple of times.

Artistic consistency and having a style that you keep "on model" to isn't hard to pull off; I could do it just fine in my early teens. The real difference is that the Sandy art is more angular while the Partydog art is rounder and cartoonier. It looks purposefully looser and looseness vs angular repetitiveness has little to do with technical skill.

There are some similarities that feel outright subconscious. Look at the purple airbrushing in the bottom corners of these pictures:

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2145592/

They both drew backgrounds by airbrushing together a bunch of different colors with some kind of custom brush

"It's not like I'm hurting anyone."

Yeah, bro. But it's still funny as hell and people are going to mock you for it until the day you die.

edit2: Haha, on the wiki it refers to me as a 'he'. Is my voice that husky? Oh well.
no, I did that wiki entry when I was drunk and it's hard to keep pronouns straight when you're talking about Shmorky and his weird female psuedonyms so I accidentally used 'he' a lot absentmindedly. I'll fix it.

After some pondering I think Paranoid_Furfagoid/Partydog/"Cate Wurtz" was the one who drew Shmorky's stuff for the Peaches & Sandy accounts.

Compare these for example:

Look at the proportions, the posing, the texturing, THE BACKGROUNDS SPECIFICALLY HOLY CRAP THEY ARE SO SIMILAR.

You could say "oh they were friends so Partydog was influenced" but I think it's more likely that someone else drew Sandy's stuff than Shmorky creating a brand new art style from the ground-up that goes against all of his cartooning sensibilities.

They both used airbrush to draw clouds

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1447643/

And in general PartyDog's aesthetic sense has far more in common with Sandy than anything Shmorky has ever fucking drawn http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2067505/

I can't prove it (robots.txt, probably "mature content" only viewable by people who registered) but back in 2009 when I came across Partydog's Asscastle FA through PHIZ on SA (one of the many FYAD-lites and the only one I had a big amount of posts in) he had a bunch of piss fetish art that was VERY similar to the stuff Sandy "drew".

So yeah, believe what you will but I say "Partydog absolutely drew art for Shmorky's Sandypants and Peachesthepuppy personas".
I'm hmming and hawing over this. I'm not sure what to think.

I know Cate Wurts/Partydog would often "take inspiration" from other artists and incorporate it into her art, sometimes to the point it felt like outright theft of a style. However, Partydog would also collaborate with other accounts with her artwork. She did some work for the HodgePodge joke account on FurAffinity. I also heard that she will take artwork drawn for her by others, put it into her own work and claim it as her own or wouldn't credit the true artist.

It feels entirely that there is a possibility that Partydog would do some of the SandyPants artwork for that gallery, but artists, especially furry artists, ape off each other's artwork all the time, so it might just be that.

I dunno man, the Sandy Pants style just feels too specific and experienced (not technically, but experienced in terms of drawing in that particular style) for someone like Shmorky to just pull out of his ass.

Since ~the furry community~ has its eye on this thread, I suspect that, if I'm right about Sandy's art being Partydog's, an "insider" might come in and confirm it.

It's far more suspicious Sandypants has no background in animation and yet seems pretty good at it, than Shmorky drawing in a more detailed artstyle. Animation is a big fucking deal, it's not easy for an artist to just get into overnight.

Those animated avatars could've been done by someone else, or by Shmorky himself.
