You want to know where you can find that version of Moxxie and Millie where they seem like a married couple? The pilot. Literally, pretty much all those points you listed were in the pilot. There's some teasing, they didn't agree on everything with each other yet not in an argumentative manner, Moxxie actually talked back to Blitzø...okay the last point wasn't related to the couple, but you see where I'm going with this. They were a genuinely cute couple that worked off of each other.View attachment 6718645
This is still the best scene between them, and it's sad we don't really get that in the actual show.
Here's what went wrong. The Pilot, in the first three minutes:
> Sets the tone of the show and type of humor
> Sets up the personalities of and relationship between the main characters
> Sets up the basic premise of the show
And the rest of the episode builds upon it. And you do get a good impression what the show will be. And it's good.

Then immediately almost everything about it gets thrown out and Vivzie shits on it. And that's why we are where we are.

Although, the seeds are there. Right in front of Millie, Moxxie:
1) Shows his insecurity
2) Allows Blitz's emotional manipulation to get the better of him
3) Does not take responsibility for his own actions
4) Throws a hissy fit because of a teenage girl insulting him
5) Bitching instead of threatening Blitz with violence for his creepy stalker behavior
6) Shows how uncomfortable he is talking about sex
You know, all the traits that are instinctually huge red flags for women. And Blitz being his complete polar opposite.

EDIT: here's another BASED & OBJECTIVE tierlist, based on the hypothetical possibility of the Farms existing in the Hellaverse

The show makes alot of gags with characters getting slashed and squashed to pieces so murder is haha funny but as soon as you touch rape or sexual assault its too far and "romanticising" or some shit ? What are these niggas standards exactly for what's ok to joke about ?
Before all, hey, you’ve signed up just a few hours ago, welcome to Kiwi Farms!

To answer your question in the shortest way possible, the show jokes about superficial things that its creators and core demographic have desensitized themselves to and avoids topics that would make them feel targeted or uncomfortable.

Now, me personally, I am nothing more then an idiot with ideas or (retard) so this is how I'd rewrite Overture.

  • The beginning of Overture is the story of Heaven and how it came to be, but I decided to recycle "That's Entertainment" with "Always Chasing Rainbows" as well as using OG Overture's story. Actually give a reason to how these connect because Viv flipflops between what's canon and what's not.
  • Instead of wanting to make her Mom and Dad proud, she wants to prove to them that her idea isn't silly or not, similar to Pilot Episode Charlie.
  • Chaggie's relationship is retconned to have recently started, because there's NO FUCKING excuse as to why a 3 year long relationship has this amount of cracks then the Iceberg that hit the Titanic.
  • Instead of focusing on getting more hotel residents, they prioritize heavily on the one they do have. Which is Angel. It never made sense on why they had Sir Pentious exist only for a tasteless joke and a joke of a death similarly to Adam. (Whom are voiced by the same guy btw.)
  • The Ad for the Hotel is not made at all, because it's not needed, instead the entirety of the episode is spent with Angel Dust, while Charlie meets with Adam.
  • Meeting with Heaven 1.0 commences, and Adam is written as a tolerable character, his misogyny is not present here, and he isn't written as some sort of "God" because the whole talk about how Adam banged a bunch of chicks sounds like he's some sort of Incel who can't let go of the fact that a "chad" like Lucifer swooped in and took his two wives from him.
  • Instead of acting like a complete dick (cough cough dickmaster is removed cough cough) he acts professional, because why on earth would the second man in heaven be unprofessional in a meeting regarding the place he's supposed to oversee exterminations on.
  • Yup, that's right, Adam isn't the Head of Exterminators baby, it's actual Azazel. But due to the incompetence of Azazel, he's a substitute.
  • Adam is pretty well spoken, speaks in Old English, pretty chill overall, and vibes with the idea of redeeming his children.
  • But just because he agrees doesn't mean he's willing to give a goal to the daughter of Lucifer.
  • He agrees to stop the exterminations (instead of cutting down the time tables) for a month if she could prove to everyone that her idea is working
  • This chance is given so she can have enough time to present her case to the Heaven, and partially the rushed season was mainly because of the 2 weeks notice they sprung on Charlie and the Hotel.
  • Adam is supposed to be controlled by Azazel as a plot twist to the end of Season One, but it's implied that Adam is being controlled by Azazel (Kinda like Roo is implied to be Eve. In a way to 'punish' both for their actions in Eden.)
  • Episode Ends with a faint shot of Azazel.
Masequerade
  • Since this would be a Angel Dust centered Episode, it would heavily talk about AD's backstory in the Mafia, his relationship with his parents, and siblings.
  • Then it comes to the circumstances to his death how he felt trapped and with no one to help him. And he ended up overdosing.
  • This episode is supposed to be serious so songs like 'Poison' and 'Loser Baby' are cut from the episode.
  • Angel Dust obviously will be torn between working for Val and maintaining his rehab treatment, he will obviously end up making excuses for both Charlie and Val to go between the places.
  • This causes issues where he ends up exhausting all his options and he will be forced to admit he was lying to Charlie, he has to beg her to NOT confront Val, as the Hotel was his only safe haven callback to the line "This hotel is, my Atlantis" from Addict. Because the worse thing for any victim is to have the knowledge that their abuser knows where their safe place is.
  • Charlie promises Angel Dust she won't tell anyone. But after a couple of incidents and being forced to actually intervene she has to.
  • Angel Dust begs, and begs, but Charlie being the pilot peak version puts her foot down, she drags her ass over to the Vees Tower (With Angel Dust holding onto her leg begging to NOT do it.)
  • She confronts Val initially with AD silently overlooking. And when Val catches on that Charlie is here to take his best paying worker. He immediately pretends to be kind and masks his cruelty. (Most people forget the part of an abuser often has them pretending to be nice in order to keep anyone from suspecting a damn thing. That's why most abusers are unfortunately able to not be persecuted because of lack of evidence.) Charlie is still suspicious but can't prod any further because Val announces he has to "award" AD for his friend coming over, which tricks Charlie enough to leave.
  • Behind close doors Val's other side comes out, he demands to know why the fuck he brought the Princess here, why she's all up in his grill. Basically unleashing an actual true threat. Angel Dust pleads with Val, but to no avail. He's unable to get over it.
  • After the second traumatizing experience, he comes back into the hotel, and the first thing he sees is alcohol, he's more inclined to indulge in something he deems as a safe coping mechanism, and he does it.
  • Husk in this episode is made likeable by force, he's concerned about Angel Dust going over the amount of alcohol. And as a responsible bartender was forced to cut him off.
  • Addictions are hard to quit, so when Husk was taking the ONLY thing he can use to cope he immediately swears at Husk and made him upset.
  • This is where the "Fake it til you make it" insult comes in, he gets heated and accidentally offends Angie, but before he can properly apologize Angel Dust runs off.
  • He doesn't run off to the club, but to his bedroom which is also a place he can consider home. It contains images of his family and some of the Hotel.
  • Angel Dust is also suicidal, I feel like it was stated he was just sick and tired of abuse but not outwardly depressed or suicidal. He convinces himself through all these self hate thoughts was the way he was going to deal with it.
  • He wanted to end it all, feeling alone, trapped between the fabric of reality. Trapped in a reality.
  • Then Husk comes in. He asks to have a chat as a bartender to patron.
  • Husk tells Angel Dust a story about a Demon who was a low class sinner, with no real goal. Who was essentially someone that didn't mark himself properly in Hell, he ended up becoming a powerful Overlord because managing to defeat a particularly powerful Overlord at the time.
  • Husk mentions this exact Overlord as someone in the third person. Then he mentions this Overlord lost it all on bad decisions and pure greed, before having his soul taken, in this entire dialogue, he finally admits the identity of the Overlord was him.
  • He mentions that he doesn't know the feeling of being SA'd by his Boss, and will never compare something as serious as that, to himself. He's fully aware that he was once an Overlord, and that he can't just compare his own situation to someone who was barely given a chance to succeed in Hell other than being someone to be used and abused.
  • But he could rest knowing that he's there to lend an ear. He even said that being stuck in a position to Angel's is a fate he will not force upon anyone not even his worse enemy (Alastor foreshadowing. Because how would he know Al is being on a leash?)
I don't know yada yada yada, stupid retarded ideas.

Seething and dilating because of KF.

Also pretty much anyone with a bit of power in hell would have a thread on them.

You know, pilot Stolas always gave me the impression that he was meant to be a perverted bastard. When he calls Blitz, he’s like “Well more people die if nothing is done about global warming, and it gets lonely down here. And when I get lonely,” you get the drill.
I basically thought he was just always grabbing some poor schmuck off the street to have sex with, basically always cheating on his wife, and Blitz just happened to be a favorite toy of his. That probably might have been more entertaining than what we actually got, even if he’d be a sex pest on the same level as series Angel Dust or even Valentino.

Moxxie is a weird character to me with or without Millie. He's depicted as the most reasonable and moral protagonist, yet he never pushes back against the absurdity of the other characters. What's the point of a passive straight man in a comedy?
He did at the very beginning, around the pilot and episode one. then the show decides to have an ongoing narrative instead of being purely episodic and with that they needed to give the characters flaws or plots, Moxxie probably got hit the hardest by this because he went from the straight man of the group that was kind of a snob at times to an insecure validation seeking loser who is rightfuly mocked and ridiculed by the universe around him, unhappy campers onward shows this more clearly.

Sometimes he acts like his original characterization but these are few and far between.

Is probably the main reason why the general opinions on him shifted with time, nowdays liking Millie more than him seems to be general consensus, wich was unheard of before season 2.

My only question is....why? What point is there to have Sallie May appear in the finale?

You know, I'm starting to think that Morgana Ignis being the brand manager for Spindlehorse and Viv's friend is the reason for why this supposedly one-off character gets so much attention. (Also, cause trans woman lol)
