That gun looks plastic, I wonder if he's running around with one of those BB airsoft pistols. He may not be able to own a handgun because of all his drug crimes, receiving stolen property, etc.

He could also just get a gun illegally. Considering his past life and his previous convictions, I don't think that far to say he got it through a family member/friend or through ill-gotten means.

He's a felon, so he's not legally able to own a gun at all. It's probably Jabba's. Even if it is Jabba's, he's not supposed to have possession of it at any time. The gun in the car might be fake, but the S&W M&P in the safe is real. Look at the barrel.

ETA: Also, on the NICS form you fill out when you get a gun, you have to state whether you use or are addicted to narcotics. He's a self-admitted addict.

It's a Smith and Wesson SD9/SD9VE, their "poverty" model. Has TruGlo fiber over tritium sights and some shitty laser flashlight combo. It's real and looks right, commonly airsoft pistols have a slightly longer barrel so they can incorporate the orange tip required. Also, from my searching nobody makes an airsoft version of the SD9 series of pistols. Too shitty to have any interest.

Just because he can't own one doesn't mean the hog couldn't just straw purchase one for him.

EDIT: The sights are the factory sights, they just come with those. You can tell it's an SD9 due to the textured spot forward of the trigger and the very light texture on the frame. Slide serrations are also the same. S&W does not make this model with a painted black slide anymore to keep costs on this ghetto blaster even lower.

Thanks. I only saw the picture of the grip, it looked plastic. I didn't see the videos.

I knew he'd been charged but didn't know he was actually convicted. I thought maybe his family got him off, surprised they didn't really.

You'd think a multi-millionaire would be rolling around with at minimum a Glock of some sort, not the next step above a Hi-Point. I mean these things are commonly are $250-300. Used I have seen 40 cal models for sub $200.
