Don't they have metal detectors at Gayound? Dude crossed state lines with a veterinary pistol?
No they don't have metal detectors at Greyhound. They barely check IDs. They used to only check IDs when you had a digital ticket, but iirc they check everyone now. Homeless people ride Greyhound.

I think we need bit of more this.
I got an ominous phone call a few hours ago from a foundation that represents a major American pharmaceutical company that sells an extremely expensive medication completely out of the blue (I was supposed to give them more "supporting documentation" months ago and just gave up on it because I was convinced they weren't going to do anything more):

"yeah so we've decided that we're going to resubmit your previous documentation to the board and see what they say"

I'm not even in burgerland (but the medication is from burgerland)

If this man is able to evade all of this, he is a legend and deserve a mad lad hall of fame. Pray for him not to get caught.
If he avoids capture with the effort he put in I’ll tip my hat that he thought this out so well it makes for the stuff of movies.

It is a dangerous precedent he is setting but tbh I appreciate someone shooting a more relevant target rather than going to a school or mall and shooting up innocent civilians who did nothing to deserve it.

The more dangerous precedent that was already set is that its a-ok to implement systems that fuck over ordinary people who pay for health insurance and enact policies that result in thousands of people literally dying or being forced into lifelong financial debt with complete impunity.

There is no real consensus so far on whether the guy was a professional hitman.

Even if it were a professional hitman, they would probably charge way more for taking retard risks to begin with:
  • A fairly high profile target
  • Having to shoot the target outside of a major hotel
  • Having to shoot the target in the middle of NYC
  • Have to leave bullet shells at the scene of the crime which are inscribed with an ideological message

If this were a professional hitman they would probably refuse the job because its just taking too many risks. The CEO faggot lived in a normal house in suburbia somewhere and there would be a million ways to do this far more easily and with way less risk involved instead of doing it in the middle of NYC.

edit: I think even if a real ass crack addict gangbanger was approached for this job and offered like 500k they would be like "naw nigga I ain't frontin that shit... CEOs n' sheiit boi I'm out, you straight bussin ma nigga, you cray cray" and immediately turn state witness - you have to be a retard to take on this kind of risk level of getting caught and making mistakes.

Maybe he wanted it to get that level of publicity and have the act caught on CCTV so it can be shown.

Sorry if someone else already posted but it might be worth to repeat, I saw that article on an other forum.

Murdered Insurance CEO Had Deployed an AI to Automatically Deny Benefits for Sick People

Just over a year before United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was murdered this week in Midtown Manhattan, a lawsuit filed against the insurance giant he helmed revealed just how draconian its claims-denying process had become.
Last November, the estates of two former UHC patients filed suit in Minnesota alleging that the insurer used an AI algorithm to deny and override claims to elderly patients that had been approved by their doctors.

The algorithm in question, known as nH Predict, allegedly had a 90 percent error rate — and according to the families of the two deceased men who filed the suit, UHC knew it.

Maybe he wanted it to get that level of publicity and have the act caught on CCTV so it can be shown.
Yeah the CCTV shot is pretty fucking iconic and I do wonder if he chose the place to shoot him deliberately - but it is in front of a 5 star hotel (I'm guessing 5 star because its a Hilton in New York City) so its going to have like 20 CCTV cameras.

The guys of American Thinker posted this article about the guys who celebrated his death like Taylor Lorenz.

Cultural rot: Taylor Lorenz and other leftists celebrate the broad-daylight murder of a health care CEO

By Monica Showalter

A broad daylight murder of a CEO in midtown Manhattan is yet another shocking descent into the 1970s slum-of-a-decade for the U.S. We haven't seen this kind of behavior in the recent past. It's signals another breakdown.

It happened yesterday as the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Brian Thompson, aged 50, was gunned down by some cold-blooded hitman in a mask and hoodie, stalking and following the CEO to a midtown hotel, firing at him from the back, firing some more when he was down, and then brazenly walking away until he got on a bike and disappeared into what cops think was Central Park, where he is now at large. The video was just horrible.
It's definitely a descent. It comes on the heels of at least two assassination attempts on President Trump, creating an odor of assassinations as a new normal. You can bet every CEO in America is going to be thinking about this and beefing up his or her security now. Now they'll be walled off from public life, as if that is going to make their services to the public better. Don't be surprised if the U.S. starts resembling certain South American countries.

What's more, it comes on the heels of a barrage of irresponsible campaign rhetoric from the Democrat side, blaming "greedy" corporations and by extension, CEOs for the inflation and higher costs, including of insurance, wracking the U.S. system. Greedy corporations did it! Not the government, which printed out too much money to pay for war, welfare and consultant contracts, including some that corporations embrace. Corporations and their leaders may not always be sympathetic, but they don't exist in a vacuum, and their officers sure as heck don't deserve to be killed in cold blood as a result. Yet they're such easy targets, much easier than President Trump at this point even with incompetent Secret Service.

From that article, I saw that tweet who mentioned a interesting point.

Btw, if we found then Brian Thompson voted Democrat, be sure they'll rub that detail under the carpet and they'll sing "lalala can't hear you".

Nice to see that people are already making t-shirts about it. Warms my heart

He's not as much of a pro as the media is making him out to be. He shot the CEO three times and pulled the slide back after each shot. The NYPD recovered three spent casings and three live rounds that he'd ejected. I can only conclude that the gunman was unaware that his pistol was semi-automatic and thought that he had to chamber a round for each individual shot when the pistol was doing it for him anyway.
Yeah, you hear stories of hitmen wearing fake beards, even fake noses etc, to disguise their appearance. Anyone who has played the Hitman game would be able to invent better disguises than a jacket with a hood and face mask...

Also did anyone else see the shooter's post on 4chan yesterday? The photo posted was in response to questions asking what weapon he used. It was some kind of handgun with a silencer that was hidden inside a basket on one of those urban e-bikes.
It's called grey-manning. If he hadn't made the mistake of taking his mask off at the coffee counter and been photographed, the description would be a "white guy with a green-hooded jacket who disappeared into the park on an electric bicycle." That describes thousands upon thousands of people in the NYC area.

Or 5 star from GTA videogame, but in real life. Now it is time to lower that 5 star count in New York and evade the cops.

Pretty sure it wasn't cycling with the suppressor. If that's the case dude pretty calmly handled 3 consecutive malfunctions in the middle of a hit.

Not a pro, pros don't really exist in the civilian world, but he pretty much nailed what he intended to do.

Wild times.

You'd think some pushed-too-far killdozer type guy wouldn't have bothered with a serious plan for getting away with it.
Well uncle Ted did his best to not be caught and it was only because his own family recognized his hand writting that he got caught, but i think it could be him just panicking after the fact and running away on adrenaline.

People get murdered in NYC every other day. I wonder how long the city can justify spending 1000x more resources on finding this killer than any of the other murderers in this city when they murder someone before this becomes part of the backlash.
The C Suite of every company is rightfully shitting their pants at being reminded of their mortality.
