I saw a lot of posts here mentioning Occupy Wall Street and how it was a failure and I guess it was. It was a social/protest movement against banks but didn't exactly offer up any alternative system (besides protesting about it).

But the events preceding Occupy Wall Street are where the actual magic happened - likely the 2008 bank bailouts - did factor into creating something that became a lot bigger than the Occupy Wall Street movement ever was: Bitcoin & cryptocurrency (which was an actual alternative system).

The first block of Bitcoin (the genesis block) had the following quote in it:

From what I know of that situation is the ai didn't approve or deny it was simply a system that looked at patient history, the surgery, and historical success rate and gave a physician an outlook on a per patient basis. Legally a physician has to approve or deny and that's a very regulated part of the business. What is gross is the AI is arbitrarily assigning a % to a surgery that still may help a person. Even if a surgery has a 20% success rate, that's still 1 in 5 that is improved and if the system assists in a blanket denial for low % success rates, eventually that success rate is also arbitrarily lowered because it's simply not being used anymore and has less of a chance to improve.

For once you’ve got a famous killer on the loose that at least half of the country would let hide out in their home if he knocked on the door in desperation. If he planned his escape as well as he planned the CEO murder he might make it awhile. His plan might have been to book it from Central Park to JFK to a non-extradition country, he could have made it given the lead time he’s had.

(But I think a pre-planned safe house is more likely to lay low for as long as he can, WU style. He also might want to be caught and take it to trial so he can make it a public indictment on the US health care industry. He’s got to feel very emboldened by the public support. It is fairly easy to just make a suppressor like that though. It's pretty much a stack of rubber baffles inside that tube you could cut from a sheet of neoprene. Then just throw those into one of those wish.com "fuel filters" and put it on a pistol you can lock the slide to prevent it from cycling.
