"Died of kidney failure" is an interesting new bit of information about Krislyssara, I believe. His death was announced with no specific information, and no obituary ever turned up. I think most posters here (including me) just assumed he killed himself.

Kidney failure makes me wonder if he had extremely severe alcoholism or something. It would help explain why he looked so horrible & aged despite only being in his 20s.

Being a troon and a desperate Becky orbiter certainly didn't help, I'm sure. Especially after she ghosted him.

I'm having trouble digging it up in the expansive thread history, but at some point Becky traveled to Florida for an extended visit and didn't bother contacting Kris. Terminally online Becky of course couldn't stop posting about the trip, leading to Kris publicly asking why Becky hadn't reached out, and no reply from Becky. This ghosting may have been the lead-in to the "break-up".

Not long after, Kris 41%ed and Becky has paraded around the corpse for asspats ever since. Nevermind that she was an obvious contributor to Kris's depressing state of mind, reality has no place in Becky's narrative.

Kris was not a person to Becky, just an on-demand validation source she could use as needed and ignore otherwise. This was probably devastating for Kris to realize, as Kris did not appear to have much of a support system and needed Becky (or really, any loyal friends) far, far more than Becky cared for Kris.

And at least as late as November 2, 2019, Bex mentioned breaking up with Kristen Lyssara (even though they were in a long-distance relationship for 2 years, which ended after Bex and the very unfortunate-looking Krissy met in person) before he passed away:

I'm going to make a bold assumption and guess than Kris had kidney problems either via diabetes or alcoholism, and Becky has cluster B'd that into Kris dying of kidney failure to suit her immediate attention whoring needs. After all, Kris committed suicide while having kidney issues, and when you die your kidneys inherently fail. Totally checks out!

As @Temperance pointed out, Becky enjoys parading around Kris's death for sympathy despite being an apparent primary cause of said death. Since Kris is conveniently no longer alive to tell people that Becky's unexplained abandonment was a probably a big factor in their depression spiral into suicide, dead Kris is a perfect prop. A cluster B's dream. Much MUCH more useful than a living Kris could ever have been to Becky.

Becky does a lot of awful but not quite illegal things. This isn't the worst. Scamming spending money for an extravagant Disney trip under the guise of cancer treatment needs & ignoring her daughter while simultaneously bringing in more unrelated men to live with her are probably the top 2 worst. But using Kris's death as a malleable sympathy prop perfectly encapsulates the irredeemably evil person she is.
