New video game lets players 'free Palestine' and fight Israel - Titled "Fursan al-Aqsa: The Knights of the Al-Aqsa Mosque", the game is developed by Nidal Nijm and is slated for release in December

Yeah great for you to make a game that celebrates muslim subhumans. What are muslims? Terrorists, murderers, rapists, pedophiles, inbred shitstains. Definitely a group of subhumans that need to be celebrated.
Let's hope mossad takes you out quick. Maybe get a pager.
Cállate judío de mierda.

This is a bit spergy but I think the word terrorist is KINDA bullshit to begin with. Not saying IDF aren't, but the definition of terrorism is ILLEGAL, use of VIOLENCE for POLITICAL CHANGE, meaning factually, George Washington was a terrorist to the British, as was literally any rebelling faction. Since it doesn't come down to morals, its more "does any govt consider this illegal?"

If so, its "terrorism" if they are fighting for something.
Actually if you really wanted to, you could list tons of people real life, or from games (quite funny) who are terrorists.

JC denton from deus ex? TERRORIST!
Gordon freeman from halflife 2? TERRORIST!
These are just a few examples, but basically ask if ANY individual IS violent for a cause, and a group / organization would CALL it unjust / illegal, if they have any power, you could argue its terrorism.

TLDR terrorism is KINDA a meaningless buzzword.
Now we're having a debate on what's technically considered "terrorism." Thank you UK.

If you ask me, outright making a level on RECENT tragedies like October 7th (whatever that is) IS in bad taste and too soon. I would think the UK has better things to do.

I always figured that terrorism was more defined by violence against civilians to cause chaos. Like 9/11.

I just bought gift copies and scheduled them to be delivered to my friends on Christmas. They probably will think it's a joke, but I genuinely want to support an independent developer who's pissing off the UK internet censors.
Yes bro, I am proud of pissing off the entire European Union, as my game is now officially region locked to All countries of the EU, thanks to french. I will post very soon an official announcement. Just to spoil a bit, my game was taken to the French Congress :lit:

About the sales, yes, praise be to Allah, now after this ban my game reached around 100k USD in gross revenue on Steam! Something that almost 95% of indie games on Steam will never reach in a lifetime.

So, as they say, there is nothing as "bad publicity" :lit::lit::lit:

So the more these morons cry, the more I:

The Crusade against my game Fursan al-Aqsa continues...

France, through Bruno Retailleau (Interior minister of France) issued a complain at the LCP (National Assembly of France) against Valve Software pursuant to Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2021/784, and since this regulation against "extremist" online content is shared by all countries of the EU (European Union), so now my game is blocked on all these countries:

Australia, Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

But I am happy to see that an entire continent is pissed off by a video game made by a solo developer on a small place of the "3rd World", as they say.

And I am happy that my game has broken boundaries never broken before. Fursan al-Aqsa deserves to enter in the history of gaming, in the same way as games like DOOM, which brought up the discussion of violence in games and Mortal Kombat, which was the reason behind the creation of ESRB Ratings.

As for players from these countries afflicted by this region block on Steam, you can either:

1- Pirate my game;
2- Buy from a key reseller;
3- Buy a key directly from me if you like to support me;

Last, but not least, I will let you with this amazing art by a friend of mine which sums up the whole message behind Fursan al-Aqsa:

"All They Can Do is to Cope and Seethe and Watch Retrospective Reviews in the Future Acclaim Fursan al-Aqsa"

Thank God the US of A has freedom of speech/expression. Europe and Australia are usually strict about videogame content, even for M rated titles.

I haven't played the game myself (I think a friend gifted it to me on steam as a joke) but have to say how obviously hypocritical it is that the US and EU are happy with games that tell their side of the story and make hundreds of millions of dollars from games like them but balk at the idea of a game from "the other side" being available.

More CoD sperging for you, @nidalnijmgames:

MW2019 depicted Russia as the aggressor against an Arabic-esque nation. Call of Duty has never depicted Arabs as an enemy since MW2, which released in 2009.

A better argument against your case would've been the Medal of Honor (2010) reboot, which depicted an actual operation from the War of Afghanistan. Even so, EA buckled under pressure due to the multiplayer allowing the Taliban as a playable faction. Which funnily enough, the UK requested a ban of the title because of it.

The developers responded by stating the reality of the game necessitated it. "Most of us having been doing this since we were 7 – if someone's the cop, someone's gotta be the robber, someone's gotta be the pirate and someone's gotta be the alien", Amanda Taggart, senior PR manager for EA, told AOL News. "In Medal of Honor multiplayer, someone's gotta be the Taliban."

I guess that's why video games are opting out of having factions in their titles. Great response from that EA PR manager. Somebody has to be the bad guy in a conflict.

Leaving aside the fact that this game and others deal with war and to some degree glorify war (Operation Flashpoint was the best at not glorifying it because it was stupidly difficult and had quotes from famous generals about how war kills everyone and is bad): I don't want to live in a world where I can't see/access games, movies and music from "the other side" and understand what they're experiencing.

If you don't have that then all you will ever hear is your own sides propaganda.

I'm sad to see the game blocked for so many people. Everyone should give the game a try, there is a free demo after all. I hope that morons in congress don't try to do the same in the States. Or maybe they should for more publicity, imagine the C-SPAN clips.
I'm pretty sure that he'll find an way to make it available to everyone. But as great as his PR is, I think that he should hold off on it until it's an bit closer to release.
