The American system is literally the best in the world.
It would be if we had a high-trust society. We don’t. America is excellent if money is no issue though! Which uh - isn’t the case for 99% of people.
You know that there are other countries than the UK in the world?
The UK isn’t a country, it’s a blight. At least Brazil, which I imagine is the lowest country on earth next to Ethiopia and uh… Moldova, understands things like flavor and not being insanely hideous. Also I bet they got some doctors with huge ass tittys that are hot.
It's undesirable for antitrust reasons for them to have this much control over the market because they can manipulate pricing and it leads to a lack of competition and a bunch of other shit.
Yeah, Teddy Roosevelt would assfuck these guys. And like, trustbusting is the most ultimate and cool thing you can do as an American. I wonder how he would feel about celebs, streamers, and other high wage people though 🤔

Paying absurd amounts of money to soulless corporations that make obscene, ungodly profits from denying you the healthcare you've been paying them, for years, to cover is a uniquely American problem.

And American problems require American solutions.
The USA is not the only country in the world with this problem or a system similar to this.

The American system is literally the best in the world. Unlike in the UK we don't have to wait months to see so scummy government doctor.
Even in the UK the only people waiting more than a couple of days to see a doctor are the ones who scheduled a vaccination or checkup in advance.

Stop mindlessly believing everything Daddy Shapiro tells you, you brainrotted idiot.

If they find this guy, Biden has the opportunity to pardon him and potentially save his legacy.

Since he pardoned Hunter after years of saying he wouldn't, even making it a campaign promise, his legacy is going to be loosing Afghanistan, loosing to Trump indirectly, being cucked by the party and being being a hypocrite as time passes and more of their efforts to harm the American public come to light, plus Ukraine and Hunter. Its not looking good for his long term post-presidency prospects however short they may be or legacy long term.

If he pardons him and makes a statement about the cost of healthcare, evil insurance companies, and it would be a bi-partisan issue everyone could agree on. He may not make any friends with big corpo CEOs but his action would be seen as a minor redemption arc after fucking up the economy and failing to deliver on student loan debt among other issues.

Legacy is complex and while I still would hate Biden even if he does pardon the shooter, the majority of normies will remember and look back positively on it for years.

Unfortunately, Biden/Jill is too much of a cuck to do anything but it would be one hell of way to leave office.

I hate the NYtimes but linking them because its an update.
Basically facial recognition experts are saying the current CCTV stills of the shooter aren't of any use to do a scan and also that if he had no online presence they would be even more useless. The only thing they can be used for is to narrow the pool of suspects down (he's not black!)

Also an update for gun niggers in this thread:

Compared with nine other high-income nations, the United States ranked last overall this year, with a lower life expectancy and higher rates of death and disease despite spending the most on health care, according to the report, released Thursday by the independent research group The Commonwealth Fund."
That's because we are including illegal aliens, gang members, death fats, and soul food loving niggers.

Thing is, you don't need government-run or paid healthcare to fix this. All you need to do is force these insurance companies to give their customers what they've paid for.
If they paid out the claims they were supposed to, premiums would be far more than what they are now.

It'd be worse for their bottom line long term b/c we'd wind up with a public option to control costs.

He can only pardon federal crimes, this would be a NY state murder.
Mea culpa. True, but democrats own NY. The president is not totally powerless. Theres enough influence and tailwind from the public to not press charges. Theres a real chance his popularity would rise because healthcare is so broken and hated in the US.

UnitedHealth received the second-highest amount of gibs from the Biden Administration behind Lockheed Martin. Dems are on the corporate side.

It’s only the best in the world for the rich. Doesn’t do you a damn bit of good if you go broke trying to use it or get just denied when you try to obtain this vaunted “best health care in the world.” It’s like me bragging about how awesome my neighbor’s mansion is, but he hates my guts and calls the police when I try to visit.

Honestly, do you work for Matt Walsh or the insurance industry? I hope someone is paying you to be such an enthusiastic lackey.

One thing most Americans don’t seem to understand about most “socialized medicine” is you have options. Most western countries offer a type of private insurance to subsidize the basic government healthcare. You pay $150 a month for private health insurance get what is equal to a gold plated Cadillac plan in the USA. The average person can rely on the basic government health system, those willing to pay a very reasonable premium get excellent care with no wait time. (Not having to wait is one of the biggest reasons people will opt for private coverage)

In many countries you pay 1% of your income into the healthcare system. That’s a fucking bargain compared to what the average American gets shafted paying premiums for care they may, or may not, receive depending on the whims of whatever greedy insurance company runs your plan.

I dunno, are handguns with big ass silencers legal in New York? I'm British, so guns are a no no everywhere here.
New York gun laws are hideously oppressive, and lawmakers in the State are working every day to make it worse. Pistols require a license to own and must be registered. Before it was struck down by the Supreme Court, it was difficult to even obtain a license in the first place, since the State could just deny your application if you didn't meet the retarded criteria.

Also, suppressors are not legal in the State of New York. Not that it matters anyway, because suppressors are an NFA-regulated item, so if he bought a suppressor legally from a store, he has a government paper trail. Given that law enforcement is trying to identify him by the backpack he purchased, it wouldn't surprise me if they're trying to cross-reference that purchase with any purchases of suppressors made by the same person, assuming he did so legally.

It's still insane to me that these giant fucking companies that are cutthroat and hugely profitable still need handouts from the government to "survive". How does that even begin to make sense?

So this controversy has mainly been centered around UnitedHealth's insurance arm (the "CEO" here was the CEO of the insurance arm of UnitedHealth) but in reality this company wants to basically own the entire health supply chain and "vertically integrate" it so that they own as much as possible of the healthcare system from pregnancy, birth, pharmacies, hospices, mental health, insurance and everything in between.
One of Robin Cook's novels is about a company which wants to dominate all aspects of healthcare from cradle to grave. I wish I could remember which of the many he has written it is. It's an old one but it seems prescient now.

Am I the only one that finds it odd that the NYPD is releasing so much info. Usually the NYPD shares as little as possible (because most of it shows how incompetent they always are) but for this case they seem to be sharing every little bit of info they get as quick as possible. Before they even clear it as relevant or irrelevant to the case.
