Shocking video shows NYC subway passenger putting unhinged man in deadly chokehold - NEW SAINT FLOYD JUST DROPPED

A

Dramatic new video shows a straphanger taking matters into his own hands, pinning down an unhinged man in a deadly incident at a Manhattan subway station this week.

The 24-year-old passenger stepped in after the vagrant, identified by sources as Jordan Neely, 30, began going on an aggressive rant on a northbound F train Monday afternoon, according to police and a witness who took the video.

“He starts to make a speech,” freelance journalist Juan Alberto Vazquez said in Spanish during an interview Tuesday, referring to the disturbed man.

“He started screaming in an aggressive manner,” Vazquez told The Post. “He said he had no food, he had no drink, that he was tired and doesn’t care if he goes to jail. He started screaming all these things, took off his jacket, a black jacket that he had, and threw it on the ground.”

That’s when he said the straphanger came up behind Neely and took him to the ground in a chokehold — keeping him there for some 15 minutes, Vazquez said.

The approximately three minute and a half long video shot by Vazquez shows the blond subway-rider lying on the floor of the train with his arm wrapped around the man’s neck.

The train was stopped, with the doors opened, at the Broadway-Lafayette Street/Bleeker Street station, where Vasquez said the conductor had called 911.

Neely — who was living on the streets and had a history of mental health issues — lost consciousness after being put in the chokehold, and EMS workers at the station were unable to revive him, police and law enforcement sources said.

The straphanger — who sources said is a Marine veteran — was taken into custody and later released without charges. The investigation is ongoing and authorities were waiting on autopsy results before deciding whether to pursue charges against the younger man, sources said.

He declined to comment when reached by The Post Tuesday, saying, “I am not interested in answering any questions, thank you.”

Vazquez, who was on his way to Yonkers at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, said Neely barged into the train at the Second Avenue station — and quickly began screaming and yelling at riders, prompting many to move away.

Video taken later shows the man flailing his arms and legs in an effort to free himself as the straphanger has him in a headlock and another bystander helps to hold him down on the floor of the subway train.

“He moved his arms but he couldn’t express anything,” Vazquez said of Neely. “All he could do was move arms.

“Then suddenly he just stopped moving,” Vasquez recalled. “He was out of strength.”

A person can be heard in the video expressing worry about Neely’s wellbeing off-camera. The man who had been helping the straphanger hold Neely down replies that, “He’s not squeezing no more.” The two then let Neely go after a few seconds, leaving him lying on his side on the ground.

“None of us who were there thought he was in danger of dying,” Vasquez said. “We thought he just passed out or ran out of air.”

Vazquez said he had mixed feelings about the fatal encounter — particularly since he said Neely had not physically attacked anyone on the train before he was taken down.

“I think that in one sense it’s fine that citizens want to jump in and help. But I think as heroes we have to use moderation,” he said.

“This would never have happened if the police had shown up within five minutes,” he added. “Then we’d be talking about a true hero. It’s complicated.”

While I think the issue of homelessness/druggies is more complicated and nuanced than "Just kill them all" and "If we just give the government more money it will be fixed" I have to admit, the "victim" deserved to get killed and I am glad he is dead. The more I learn about him the more I understand that he might be the best example of a lost cause that literally will never be able to function in society, no matter how much time or resources he was given. In a perfect world with maximum efficiency maybe he would have just had life in prison or a mental hospital, but we aren't in that world and having him be in one of those buildings would be a waste of time for the staff since he is obviously going to do nothing but harm until he inevitably dies. I'm not ready to give up on every homeless person yet (just some of them), but this man's death is the most obvious net gain to society I have ever seen. I hope the "killer" gets acquitted.

What compels the jury to make a decision beyond the Judge telling them to and the peer pressure from making other people wait? The one time I sat on a jury it was an open-shut case, everyone just nodded at each other and we were out in about an hour. If I sincerely thought a man was innocent while hanging a jury and the judge tried to shoo me along, fuck you. I will wait. We’re all waiting.

I think they just wanna wrap it up before the weekend.

If you live in New York willingly you are truly nigger cattle.
Remember that the NY government is a corrupt shithole and that's why Louis Rossman left it for Texas. He has a whole series on his channel on dealing with NY trying to extort him for taxes he had already paid.
I do recommend watching the video, the levels of insanity on display is worth it.

Edit: This video from Rossman is relevant, talking about a similar case that happened in NYC.

Peer pressure is the main thing, but the judge forcing the jury to continue deliberating can also be effective.

The jury tells him "We're hung. We can't decide." Then he says, "You're not hung until I say so. Now you must come back to this courthouse tomorrow and continue deliberating for hours." Then a lone hold out might be pressured even more by the other jurors to switch sides and get out of coming back the next day.

This exact scenario happened to someone I know who was on a jury. After hours of deliberation, they were hung 11 to 1 to convict a young black armed robber (who was very obviously guilty). The lone holdout was an old black woman. She refused to explain her position, saying only "I don't think he would do that".

The judge announced that the jury must deliberate for two more hours, then come back tomorrow to continue deliberations. Then the old black bitch immediately agreed to convict as soon as the jury got back to the room. Prison time for Da'Travious! The Black Granny didn't want to come back for another day.

It's been that way for years.
I know and I get mad every time. Conservatives are honestly worse than niggers because of their total cravenness. They don’t even want to do anything, I’ll go riot for this nigga but nothing is organized anywhere, meanwhile leftoids have 10 trillion prepared riots set up in every major city after some dumb nigger dies, and all you gotta do is show up.

An Allen charge sounds a lot like Jury nullification except the judge is forcingit. If the Jury is hung and can't come to a decision, they might as well flip a coin for the outcome.

yah most states don't even allow it. It's rather funny how the big blue stats kept this ability while most red states tossed it as jury tampering.

That's another downside

Bragg gets to use taxpayer funds to redo his crusade while Penny needs to shell out another 100K from his own pockets. The system is part of the punishment. Even if he is found innocent he's out a shit tonne of money and all because he wanted to help some Jew Yorkers. I hope more people take this lesson to heart.

Someone point Elon’s gaze towards this case, he’ll fund the defense like he’s doing for Gina Carano

I don't really think so. maybe something local but despite the MSM's best efforts people just didn't care.

This isn't 2016 anymore, the media is a spent force that most people don't even watch or listen to. Sure we'll have the usual suspects saying the usual things on social media but guilty or not I think no one will chimpout.

Chimpouts aren't spontaneous, they get built up by outside sources riling up the monkey with rhetoric and promises of free Nikes. I think no matter the outcome it will go over like a wet fart.
They riot out over the woman who threw boiling water at the police and got shot for it.
It seems like BLM has kinda died a bit.

Shit I didn't know he moved! Loved watch his repair videos. That man is a fucking surgeon with a rework station.

We don't have to kill them or overly waste money.
Just have a government program that gives money and treatment to drug addicts to be sterilized with consent.
Therefore eventually less drug addicts on the streets will have children and eventually they will dwindle down and will have a net gain.

If you haven’t kept in contact with a specific family member for 2 years or more, your rights to a civil lawsuits over their death should be nullified. Even 2 years is too forgiving. It’s all a money grab at that point, so that you can get shot over a brand new pair of Nikes because you wouldn’t take care of your child or try to keep your cousin off of the streets.

I’ve seen white people do it as well, but not nearly at the same rate as black people.
And if the white people aren’t trailer trash, they’re helicopter parents who ignored the criminal or dumbass that their child grew up to be.

Let this be a lesson to all you big dick shits who always want to be the hero and defend strangers in public. This idiot threw his whole life away because some homeless guy was harassing some idiots on the poverty train and he wanted to step in because he's an idiot who was brainwashed in the military to "defend the innocent".
