UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops - Just Part and Parcel of visiting a Big City

I wonder if there will be more. Not by the same person, but you can bet that some other people who have thought about it are now getting inspired.
You need more than inspiration to carry out stuff like this. You need proper motivation, planning and the feeling that you have nothing to lose. There's no shortage of people who feel inspired to do things like this, but lack the other components.

doesn't help that voters will look at freeloading munchies and think, "fuck that, I don't want my tax dollars paying for that piece of shit."
In my experience they ask why are my tax dollars paying for free healthcare for that asshole, but not me? I pay taxes and get a $3500 bill for a trip to the ER, on top of monthly premiums. I’d like the govt to use my taxes to pay for my ER visit too. Only seems fair since I pay taxes and those assholes don’t.
Supposedly it was Richard McCoy after all. The parachute used was quite recently found at McCoy’s mother’s property.

The FBI are exhuming him to confirm via DNA.

There’s a new “we’ve solved the DB Cooper mystery” story every year, it’s almost a Christmas tradition. I’ll believe when the FBI actually confirms it not because the media ran another story about a relative who can totally prove a dead relative must have been DB.

That is cope talk. Public sentiment is against them. They will have to water down the evil shit to gain public support back as they have more eyes on the book the bullets were referencing.
Long term yes they will go back to doing the evil shit. But at least for a year, they will not deny as many claims till the heat dies down.
They're already hated, what would even more hatred do to them?

Just wanted to add that next to the Japanese, we go out of put way with diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, CAT, etc.) rather than simple doctoring.

The benefits is that we can catch the 1 in 1000 condition/ illness. The downside is cost

If we are going to sperg out about US healthcare vs the world PBS Frontline has tp excellent documentaries:

American Healthcare

Healthcare Around the World

The quality of doctors and hospitals in the US is excellent. The problem is chronic conditions and preventative care.

Hot take I guess, but honestly I feel like this is one of the things that's been sorely missing from modern society. People are too comfortable with trashing someone's life from afar because they don't have to worry about social pressure or consequences.

Yes, at least this guy had the stones to do his own killing, not have Shoniqua in Patient Access & her 50K/year salary (or some A.I.) do it for him.

RE: Establishment fags like Fredo Cuomo pearlclutching about a lack of empathy & “hate speech”...Thousands of people suffer & die every year from this “industry”s shenanigans: I SLEEP. A rich whitecollar criminal responsible for much of it gets capped: REAL SHIT, YOU VILE SCUMBAGS DARE LIONIZE THIS COLD-BLOODED MURDERER!!

Tons of crazy people in this thread cheering on the death of this guy for accounting for less than 1% of total medical costs. If you want to know who makes healthcare expensive, look at doctors.

100% ‘My Source Is That I Made It The Fuck Up’...
1%...try 45%, hoss. Are they adding 45% of value or is this just more bullshit jobs in America? It’s mostly not the providers, who as already mentioned lose like half their income on malpractice protection, it’s the middlemen. Look at it this way: Did Ticketmaster make concerts more affordable?

Also did anyone else see the shooter's post on 4chan yesterday? The photo posted was in response to questions asking what weapon he used. It was some kind of handgun with a silencer that was hidden inside a basket on one of those urban e-bikes.

I‘d never take 4chan seriously. That picture of the ebike basket was a CGI/AI creation from an artist on Xitter. Some pol autist stole it & is trolling 4chan playing pretend. If I wasn’t a lazy ass I’d find the tweet. Gonna have to be a trustmebro, but go on Twitter search “ebike basket” and you’ll see many accounts reusing the pic without attribution.

Someone may have hired this guy, that’s possible, but there’s too many things he did showing he didn’t do much more than practice with his DIY suppressor some. If he’s a pro, he did a great job making himself look like an amateur. This Youtuber goes over it, just ignore the conspiracy sperging at the end:

They're already hated, what would even more hatred do to them?
What you describe is individual hatred. Not public consensus hatred. This assassin has done more than put a bullet in the brain of a CEO. The book he referenced by the bullets left at the scene just shot up to #1 on Amazon. People on mass have been clued in to the Delay ,Defend, Deny tactics.
Public apathy over their CEO getting turning in to coffin fodder has not produced the outpouring of sympathy you usually get, they have been blindsided by the reactions. More people are laughing and celebrating he got shot. More people are taking an interest in the supposed reasons why he got shot.
I said in the post it wont make them change long term. But for a year they are going to be on their best fucking behaviour to the general public. Rainbow bomb all you want. I know what temporary capitulation looks like.

Finally some good news to add to my day.

No no, this is just nature taking its course. You get all of what's coming to you with interest.
In fact, this has happened MANY MANY MANY times throughout history, particularly in Rome. Fat cats get cocky, assassinations start happening more and more regularly. Even installing emperors with absolute authority did nothing to stop this. It just became an almost regular occurrence in Rome for hundreds of years. The honeymoon period just finished, that's all.

I do not promote political assassination at all. However, I have no sympathy for this guy, or any other CEOs of health insurance companies. They disgust me more than CEOs for alcohol, or tobacco, or defense companies. At least you know what those people sell - it says it on the tin. Healthcare companies in the US suck people dry and do next to nothing for them.
You have no idea how mind-rape-y these corporations are. They kill you with a thousand cuts through their marketing regimes and psychological fuckery nowadays. Just look at Purdue Pharma and their "reputation laundering". Insurance firms are directly tied to the policies and marketing strategies pharma corps use nowadays so this dude may have just saved many many lives by ridding this motherfucker from the planet. These corps will kill you over time if people don't resist them and FORCE them to cooperate regardless of the financial leverage they have. That requires vigilance and violence alone. You're not going to do this through suing them. People have tried. It doesn't stop these assholes and their rackets of drugs, marketing, financial capital, technology and lawyers.

Remember, these corps are also leveraged in psychology expertise - they know how to get you dependent on them and then kill you slowly to get you onto more and more pills. Then when your money is gone and your health vanishing to the point of death, they just kill you and go to the next generation of victims. I've been losing a few members of my own family recently and they all seem to have something in common - first they have a minor issue, then it's escalated by aggressive marketed tactics that push doctors into pushing drugs onto them, then they get them completely incapacitated and entirely reliant on drugs as they age and then kill them off when they are starting to run out of money.

Luckily, they seem to be purging each other already (and I suspect this dude is the same, potentially an agent of someone though I haven't checked, I've just seen this happen a few times already with pharma-technocrats). They also exploit wars around the world for leverage nowadays. Wouldn't be shocked if part of the reason Syria is hitting the fan is due to Pharma-MIC conflicts of interest with the drugs that are coming out of Syria (Captagon) - can't have competition!
I wouldn't be surprised if oil and pharma industries are at each others' throats (because higher fuel and oil prices means less revenue for pharma, etc). So they might also see that as an issue with Syria and these wars that drive up fuel prices. So if pharma is leveraged in the US MIC more, that might explain why Syria is being cracked down upon. But now we watch for the US to treat "anti-pharma" extremists as the next threat. Just watch. These guys are fucking assholes.

I predict some rational outcomes we will all come to appreciate:

1) Cities actually will get fully CCTV’d up with 8k AI tracking, CCP style, just like skitzos erroneously believe has been the case for the last 30 years. Palantir and Amazon will provide these services.

2) Megacorps will employ private security to a huge degree, armies in their own right, with lethal and non-lethal technologies the police could only dream of. Think Tesla robocop androids with guns on them, drones that can tase you, etc. So don’t think protesting outside their headquarters.

3) health insurance and provision will tighten up and get worse. Unless you work for megacorp and get their health package, you are on your own. Survival of the fittest is the American way baby!

Edit: adding to reflect actual developing events that I hadn’t thought of.
4) as a division of 2) massive social media monitoring will track down anyone joking or memeing about assassins and unperson them.
