In fact, i theorize vivzie is fully aware of Stolas bad father reputation and changed Lucifer to be much more supportive of Charlie compared to the pilot.

That would be simultaneously the best and worst decision if its true especially with how it is executed

It's bad, because out of anyone to have daddy issues with, Lucifer does make sense since he is a manipulative asshole and it would be a waste of a possibly interesting villain.

On the other hand, it is a good decision since given how many daddy issues episodes are in Helluva Boss especially with Paimon, Moxxie's evil Mafia Dad, Blitzo's scumbag dad, Stolas himself, and Mammon (if he counts as Fizz's father), having more in Hazbin would have been annoying. Especially because I guarantee all those scumbag dads barring Stolas, are going to have more issues with their sons.

So Lucifer being a good father is surprisingly refreshing both for Vivzie and animation, since it is rare to actually have a good father-child relationship.

I wouldn't think he's a good father. He took his daughter to a place she didn't like. It's seen as different to me because if he was more present and spent time with Octavia he wouldn't be in this mess.

The only time Octavia gets to spend with her father is now a memory of being taken to a theme park she liked a decade ago. Octavia s opinion of her father is low. And the writers literally labeled a 17 year old a Cockblocker.

And the whole "I'm sorry I'll know next time" is BS. We know Stolas isn't going to have a next time with his Daughter.

Also trying to have Lucifer as supportive is funny because his debut episode is titled "Dad Beat Dad" it's implied to be Dead Beat Dad as Hazbin Hotel has their episode scheme names after Songs "Radio Killed The Video Star" or pop culture references. Or anything of the sort.

I mean he was a "good father" cause the episode ends on a positive note that Stolas learned his lesson and will do better next time. Something something it was character development (until it wasn't).

Of course, new episodes and hindsight completely tarnished that episode cause Stolas lied and and didn't learn anything.

Loolooland ended with Stolas carrying Octavia, agreeing to go somewhere with her and then Blitzo gets exploded and falls in front of him while he doesn't react.

Can anyone see current Stolas actually doing that lol. He would probably say bye to Via and rush to hug blitzo.

Come to think of it. Octavia is never Stolas' priority unless the writers need her to be a tool to sympathize with. It reminds me so much of parents divorcing and they try and use their child to the extent they do.

Even if he's a good father. A real father shouldn't have to hesitate and decide if he wants his low class imp cock over his own daughter.

At the end of the day. If Blitz and Octavia were hanging off a cliff and or drowning, Stolas will choose Blitz.

If the song It's Over Isn't It was written by Viv it would've been about Octavia under the context of fighting for her fathers attention.

I would say on the Octavia thing, it is going to be stupid if Stella is suddenly a master manipulator who gaslights her daughter since it goes against what really has been established about Stella even by the show's standards for many reasons:

1. Stella openly hates Stolas that Octavia probably hears the screaming matches, and given Stolas' reason for Stella to get pissed off and how it affects his realtionship with Octavia, then of course Octavia would side with her mom.

2. Stella's established as a dumbass who needs her evil brother to do all the planning, so at best I can see her manipulate Octavia if she was like 12 years old or younger.

3. Stella's actions so far have been mostly played for comedy. Like the most serious her evil traits were when she did that whole "I love angering you", her reactions are too comedically over the top, her calling a hitman on Stolas was revealed as a funny twist ending, and some of her arguments are played for comedy like when she did it publically.

Stella doesn't really work in the soap opera this show has become, and when you do take her seriously, she becomes way more sympathetic since the worst she could've done is maybe make mean comments about Stolas, since she only really became a villain after he cheated on her. Unless somehow they retcon that to make her have a plan of killing him prior with her evil brother wanting his wealth, since I can see Vivzie and Brandon doing that in Season 3

Yeah in general, Stella is just another reason for us to sympathize with the asshole bird Stolass. Afaik, Stella wasn't bad before until the viewers wanted more and more Stolitz and the writers FUCKING themselves in a corner. SO they decided to degrade- actually no, everyone's degraded in this show even the victim of this shitty bird.

Oh there's no doubt about it, Stolass is the number one hated character in the tumblr critic community for doing awful things and getting rewarded for it. What's the point in Hell when you're rewarded for sinning even more? Hell should be a place of damnation not Central Detroit. (small edit, it's a little far stretch to imply it would be central Detroit because usually you can't have shit there, and Hell, you're handed everything on a silver platter. The closest would be Los Angeles or even third world countries but Los Angeles is closer.)

You got:

- Fully functional shops
- Hierarchy that's immediately ignored, utilized when it's convenient.
- Overly dramatized backstories for characters who fit these criteria: Affably Bad or just so three dimensional you don't even realize they exist (I.E. Stolas, Moxxie and Blitz.)
- Apparently Blitz getting raped is reverse raped because he raped Stolas?
- Lack of communication sets up drama every. fucking. time.
- Absent Parents that leads to people being excused for being awful people.
- Cutting corners to get to a conclusion without actually showing the results beforehand (SML type laziness)
- Expecting retarded Stans headcanons as being true (Viv has went on the record to use these ideas and IS ACTIVELY STEALING from her fans.)
- Doxxing people because they said S1 of Helluva is better than S2 (based opinion), then being nearly 40 years old driving drunk into a 19 year olds mother workplace to cause damage and harm because of said opinion
- The fanbase admitting they house predators as a way to dispel any critics opinions.

And so much more autism I see scrolling through Xitter, Medrano puts Dream and Logan ThirtyAcre to shame with her rabid fanbase. Wouldn't be too much long until they turn on her just like with Dream. But yeah, the decisions Viv made are similarly what Logan did when using the Jeffy puppet, she catered to Children and not the proper audience that came for a show about Imps essentially going on wacky adventures, instead we get Twilight and My Immortal levels of garbage, but what do we expect from a show that was conceived on the foundation of Tumblr, the site where SuperWhoLock and rejected LiveJournal AttentionWhores go to?

Even with the troons and faggots supporting and continously buying overpriced merch that won't go to the workers pockets but straight to Vivienne Beast, they won't care, as long as they get Stolass x Blitz. Best to split and find some other show to watch. The Amazing Digital Circus is one, but afaik the creator also actively sent a tweet out thinking of making a Song about Shadman, and she's still apparently associated with Viv, I don't touch TADC because it's just like Hazbin, filled with uninteresting spergs ruining things they have no business ruining. It's gotten so popular, that it's gained Slop/Fetishy ElsaGate content on the level that Hazbin has.

So yeah, TLDR: Indie Animation was killed because Miss Piggy got a little too retarded and decided to hire creeps and weirdos.

Beats me, Vivienne and Brandon were onto something good with it. If they’ve managed to pull it off then they could have made a pretty much enjoyable edgy cartoon as well. I’m just not sure how much of it was and is actually Vivziepop, because I often feel like the only writing credit Brandon has in the show is just being responsible for Blitz’s dialogs and a few jokes said by other characters in the show.
