I'm no expert, but with male patients, at least the surgeon would be starting out with male pelvic anatomy, which would simplify some aspects, like the placement of the "neo-phallus" and certain structures (ligaments, etc.) that already exist to support a penis. Women have none of this, which is why the flesh abominations they get always end up pulling on their mons/labia skin like the useless heavy flesh wraps that they are. On Nov 6th I had a hysterectomy, the day after I had a seizure in the hospital. My hemoglobin dropped to 64, I had one bag of iron, 12(?) Bags of fluids, and 2 blood transfusions. Slide one is front swelling, Slide two is bruising six days post op. 23 ftm

A seizure in a hospital bed can still leave someone bruised; unless they predicted it and got the padded rails going, the person's going to be banging against plastic-over-metal side rails.

However, from the looks and from her reporting a transfusion, her ecchymosis is more likely the sign of an internal hemorrhage after they poked or failed to close something during her hysterectomy.
