I think it's just the dopamine rush from getting a shout out. Most paypigs are likely socially inept freaks that aren't part of a community, so paying to be a top dawg in some streamer's chat makes sense to them.

Until around the time the Rekieta shit started to heat up, they 100% were hostile to Null and the Farms. They started to pander to both because they realized there was an audience overlap.

They didn't have to pander to Nick's anymore because Nick went full retard, his old audience abandoned him (which, for a time, included Metokur Masochist), and Null and the rest of the Farms turned hard too. A lot of people ended up on the same page.

Make no mistake though, PPP was perfectly fine with that. He NEVER liked Nick. He would have probably done it sooner if there weren't concerns about $$$.

I recall the posters in PPP's thread actually being unusually nice to him. It read like Jim's thread, at times.

He originally got that thread back in 2020 because of the BS NP2 accusations he was making against Null (the same user that wrote PPP's thread wrote the Simpiracy thread), but over time PPP actually started to grow on people. He was one of those cows you kinda wanted to like.

It's only just recently that I am seeing a lot of people being critical of him again.

The thing is, there are pretty clearly times it behooves them to put that aside, for the sake of the grift.

Case in point: There's absolutely nothing to be made from shitting on Josh, and the Farms, and continuing to ignore Rekieta. Indeed, the Farms is probably still the best source of information as to what's going on with Rekieta. So it becomes an alliance of convenience.
