UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops - Just Part and Parcel of visiting a Big City

I don't think its been brought up but the fact the police don't have any info on him probably also means he did not have a cellphone on him. They have a map of his bike movements but not GPS or cell data (at-least thus far). I just find that interesting, 72hrs have passed and its going to be harder to find him.

Let’s encourage this behavior. I can’t imagine any negative blowback from encouraging leftoid fucktards to engage in domestic terrorism. BLM was based. Burn it down. Maybe you useless mongoloids can discover a way to build skyscrapers from ash.
I think killing elites should be an option for Americans of all political affiliations.

Imagine if Janet Reno was assassinated in a similar manner instead of the OKC bombing.

NYC insane data traffic and immense amount of travelers helps anonymize someone. This guy could have also gone the stealth assassin route and popped off execs near their homes or places of work, but he chose a very public spot in manhattan, with cameras, up close and personal with the target, for a reason (possibly maximum media coverage). NYC is very public, but also very anonymous, at the same time.
UnitedHealth is based in Minnesota so all the c-suites live there. I think the head head CEO guy is british so not sure if he lives there also. But they all live in suburbia shit where it would be way easier to do something like this. Doing it NYC and right before the investor meeting was obviously sending a very strong message.

I can understand why people are happy about this, but I can't bring myself to be. A man was murdered for nothing; he'll quickly be replaced and they'll continue what they were doing. This didn't 'own' or take down the company and it's evil practices. All it did was rob someone's family from a loved one at most.
You can't just take down a whole company by taking out it's CEO, realistically speaking.
Rate me dumb it autistic if you want, but I just don't find joy in murder.
It wouldn't be A&H if you didn't get mega downvoted for an unpopular but correct opinion. Anyways, in all likelihood the ceo will be replaced by someone new and the company will overtime return to their usual shitty practices

One, though only because they buy into a conspiracy where Mr Thompson was trying to do what he could to fix the industry and make his company less cartoonishly malevolent.
He was trying to do what he could to fix the industry by introducing an AI tool that streamlined denying people coverage and also insider trading :story:

This is some real 5D underwater Chinese checkers shit.

The Mayor of NYC is smoking crack hopium and claiming "The net is tightening" on the suspect who left NYC like 3 days and 23 hours ago and could be in ancient babylonia trading bronze ingots for ancient ass and pussy by now for all anyone knows

Authorities are closing in on the suspect who assassinated UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Manhattan, Mayor Adams said Saturday.

“The net is tightening,” the mayor told reporters at a Police Athletic League holiday party in Harlem.

The mayor spoke as the manhunt for Thompson’s killer entered its fourth day.

“We don’t want to release that now,” the mayor said when asked if police have the killer’s name. “If we do, we are basically giving a tip to the person we are seeking and we do not want to give him an upper hand at all. Let him continue to believe he can hide behind the mask. We revealed his face. We’re going to reveal who he is and we’re going to bring him to justice.”
Sounds like they don't actually have his name then.

I fully support letting patients get discharged to die in their own squalor and misery. Because you’re stupid and useless. So many cases. Cry about it. Or move to Canada where they will tell you to your dumb fuck face that that you’re useless and should die.
It seems that Paroxetine isn’t covered under your plan. Take some ibuprofen and have some chocolate.

I'll admit the thought has crossed my mind too and in that case it's really shitty everyone is celebrating his death, though thankfully reality doesn't line up with that particular schizo fantasy.
I'll plat devils advocate. Why would he suddenly have a crisis of conscious after already being the indirect cause of probably a million deaths or more while working as a CEO?

The Old West had the likes of Billy the Kid and Jesse James. The 1930s had the likes of John Dillinger and Bonnie and Clyde. And now the 2020s has this guy.

He says while cackling at the thought of Gazan children dying to white phosphorous and starvation.
Ben Shapiro: *reacts with glee when Qasem Soleimani, a man who made decisions that affected thousands, was killed in a targeted attack*
Also Ben Shapiro: *reacts with disgust when Brian Thompson, a man who made decisions that affected thousands, was killed in a targeted attack*

Neither of these deaths changed anything but people still celebrated.

Ironically, Bob Cratchett earns 15 bob a week, 39 pounds a year which is probably, after inflation, not far off the minimum wage even now
IIRC that was the bit. At the time scrooge was google-tier generous, most employees didn't even get Christmas off back in the 1840s. But that was sort of the point of the story. Even being "fair for his day" was obviously not enough and he knew that. Same way I bet this health insurance CEO donated to charity "the appropriate amount" but has to understand that the way he does business is fucking people over.
Still find the circumstances around his death weird
You shouldn't? Guy gets drunk and falls through a blatantly weak guardrail. People throw up conspiracies because he was into those but he was also blatantly into booze, on par with Nick Rekieta and Ethan Ralph. Honestly his last memories were probably hours before he died because he was blackout drunk.

Conspiracies have been co-opted and memed into oblivion. I know pro-israel types who say Epstein didn't kill himself but somehow don't connect his antics with mossad or that mossad might be evil. So Trevor telling people 9/11 conspiracies isn't going to be something that leads to his death. For fucks sake there's like a half dozen podcasts all about Epstein or pizzagate and they don't get harassed and the hosts make a quarter mil a year. You might as well say Trevor got killed because he said curse words on WKUK

I’m retarded so this doesn’t mean anything really, but the day it happened I did try to find some philanthropy from Brian Thompson so I could contrarianpost about what a good guy he was online. A favorite charity, volunteer work, starting some organization, a newsworthy push for a cause, anything. I couldn’t find shit and all it did was lead me to the now common knowledge of what a dirtbag he was.

Still, I can’t imagine there were no obligatory charitable contributions. There just don’t seem to be any that I can find (but I am retarded).

Is there any indication as to whether Thompson was targeted specifically, versus the shooter just wanting to take out any exec(s) and Thompson being in the right place at the right time to give him that opportunity?
