A few hours ago, people in Damascus were amassing to support rebel entry into the capital. One guy clearly has a police vest on, either they've looted the police station or he's a cop who just defected to the winning side.

Now crowds are setting off fireworks to celebrate Assad's imminent downfall in Damascus. Yet others have formed mobs to beat on the doors of sealed-up government offices & security stations in the capital this evening.

Claims circulating that the SAA is pulling out of Homs entirely, they must be headed for the coast with Damascus falling.

If the Wagner coup succeeded, imo Russia would be in a better position in their war. Now they’re getting it in Syria, Africa, and actually got invaded by a country a fraction of their size.
