You would probably achieve similar results by praising Vic or demanding justice for Alec Holowka.
"splitting" could be over anything. its rewarded under the paradigm of leftist crimes and misdemeanors where they can make up statute offenses like "deadnaming" "transmysogyny," "fascism," "misgendering" "inceldom" etc.
and it doesn’t matter if you turn a new leaf, sober up, find Jesus, fly a rainbow flag, and shine a niggers shoes- the trans inquisitors will find stuff you posted 15 years ago and convict you and expel you on sight.
Meanwhile they themselves can get a gender marker and name change, and if you ever ever ever dare whisper that name or anything they ever said or did under it - or mention how many kids they fucked under it - youre donezo.
For that "experiment" I did not "post" anything whatsoever. Nor did I interact with, mention, or even follow any other accounts. Just wanted to see what would happen to a profile that had a #maga2024 tag in its profile.
It didnt get banned or suspended. It was stuck in an oubliette that had a wildly different "discover page." Consisting only of trolls. And not even fun or mildly funny trolls. Like, "hur hur hur Trump won, cry more libshits" kind of content. Hell-banning!
Can we just forbid Jack Dorsey from starting any new tech product ever again?
No. In egregious cases, of which Twitter was arguably one or trying to be, the SEC can say that a CEO of a bad company is no longer allowed to run or be CFO, treasurer, CEO, [on the board etc] of another publicly traded company. Tech is a small world they’re all connected and this is a death blow.
The numerous situations in which the FTC went after them for privacy and marketing practices or violating prior consent orders could have taken Dorsey and anyone else involved with Twitter down that road. Jack had other ambitions with Square and other companies he might like to run. He is a lot of things but stupid isn't one of those things. Twitter was a bad company headed in a bad direction. So Jack bailed. it was his job to fix all that. Now you have Elon, who cried “I can save her” , whose mutual hatred for the SEC could have been a problem as well. So Twitter was conveniently taken private and the SEC can't do anything now.

Bluesky as a protocol was a good idea. Jack claims he wanted to set things up in a way that no one could be "permanently banned forever " again. When it became clear that Bluesky was adding features to shitlist and ban people forever over stupid fucking grudges and slights, just like Twitter, he noped out of Bluesky. He had already been down that road and wants no part of it.
Now hes on nostr, which has relays that can and will ban you for using the "N word" and such. You can run your own relay but they wont ingest it. Thats not how I am using Nostr and it’s not how I want to use Nostr so I have not been banned or fucked with on Nostr and nobody cares I even exist there. Radically different than being witch hunted and permanently excluded over imaginary slights on bluesky by people you don’t know or care about or interact with at all. In my case , I literally am racist and I literally hate trannies , and I literally am an antivaxxer who wishes Tony Facui would die in a fire so I’m removed quickly.
As it should be. But they’re removing people for merely imagining that they’re any of these things.
