This ending was great and I am glad I caught it live. Even if the Vegas trip sucked with some content, this ending was still really good.
The other people getting unceremoniously kicked off and Burt just left in the desert tied up loose ends. Most of them didn't even read the contract, production is not under the obligation to give the full prize to anyone, only the daily/weekly stipend.
Sam really fucking hated these people after the Brandon saga and for being insufferable in general and didn't want to give them any money. :story:

I don't think Sam not liking Burt had anything to do with him not giving him the prize money. From day 1 Burt was adamant he didn't need the money and would give it away to the other fish in the house. I'm sure Sam saw that and realized "Why even give him the money if he's just going to give it away?" and that's why he gambled it.

For me the S1 ending is still the best. Cathartic after the cell and dramatic fakeout and the viewers were coordinating to figure out what all was going on since different things happened on different cameras throughout.
Then Sam gives a genuine speech and they gather their stuff and walk out one by one and the conversations and laughter can be heard outside.
Hard to top the cleansing sunlight washing away Hell House as the sounds of laughter and happiness is heard in the S1 ending.

They managed to end the show with a funny bit. Complaints aside, this was a very entertaining season with some very memorable fish and freeloaders. Taking Sam and co. at their word, Act 4 was the best outcome of a bad situation and, taking that into account, I am willing to overlook the rough parts somewhat. It's safe to say this was not a show-ending disaster and I look forward to what the next season has in-store.

Season 1: Neptunian ending - overall positive and hopeful vibes, going outside and walking off into the distance, everyone wins money

Season 2: Goranian ending - negative vibes, sudden cut ending after two injured competitors slug out in swamp house, the autistic non-favorite wins

Season 3: Golden Neptunian ending - dream-like and surreal vibes, saying goodbye to all of your friends along the way, winning no money, and drifting away in the picturesque desert

I think that was my favorite ending

Sam said he wouldn't give any money to burt several times, and after the brandon thing happened, he didn't want anyone to win. His last hope was binx, that's why he gave her the "don't be a thot talk", but she blew it, so even if she had won, he probably wouldn't have given anything to her either.

It's a gay show.

I hated season 2's ending. Hated it. TJ and Shinji fighting to the point of near collapse then sobbing to each other and then the show cutting to black after they thought Shinji might have a serious head injury. Just super dark and more upsetting then anything.

I liked the idea of the ending, it just wasnt earned. Still the final shot of Burt was funny, it just didnt build up to that ending in my opinion.

The S1 ending was kino, it had events leading up to it that kind of made sense. This didnt.

Still, we got a funny image out of it. Really hope Burt got the $50k, doesnt matter if he wants it, he earned it, and thats the deal.

I hope they realize how badly they fucked this season up. They kind of got mean spirited to the fish towards the end, when the problem was themselves. They even had venom for the viewers, Sam telling people to "watch the vibes they spit out when complaining because bla fucking bla" yeah right.

Even still, we got some amazing kino. For about four weeks, I had an incredible time watching everything. Big ups to all the people making edits and documenting everything on YouTube. Ive seen some small creators put out some edits that only have a couple of hundred views and they have all cracked me up.

Its also odd to me that, the longer this thing goes on, the less generous production seems to be.

In the first season, fishbucks were $500 a piece and were given out pretty liberally. There was a substantial first prize and second place prize. In season 2, a lot less money seemed to be given out and only the first place winner got anything, And now, they want us to think nobody got shit.

Sam said a couple of times during the first weeks of S3 he didn't want to give Burt 50K because he was afraid Burt would buy "weird gay shit" with it.

This is a good summary of this season post famous house 2.0. There was no semblance of plot or cohesion and everything felt very disconnected. But we got some funny moments out of it.

Finale for those who missed it:

Until next season boys.

Fishtank. Fishtank never changes.
When unforseen issues with the Season 3 house arose and act 3 crashed and burned, the remaining fish and freeloaders sought refuge in Sam's RV. They were not told where they were going as it sped down the Massachussets highway off to parts unknown.
As the days passed, the RV trip continued with no end in sight, picking up surprise guests along the way.
This journey was fraught with peril.
Many hardships and connection problems were faced in the RV and Payton ended up meeting her end to the dreaded Elimination Chocolate.
When Production finally opened the RV's blinds, the fish had found themselves in a city far away from the season 3 house, untouched by the wiggers and hell house fuckery.
What seemed like a last minute bit, had taken a surreal turn.

Cue Fallout New Vegas theme song

Now that all's done, it feels safe to say that, if not for the cast (Luke, Alex, and Burt especially), this would've been the worst season; no other season has given off this much of a "we have no idea what the fuck we're doing" vibe.

Shit was constantly introduced just for it to get dropped right after, they couldn't even finish the full six weeks, the 2.0 cast sucked for the most part and would have been a shitshow even if they were able to get the full six weeks in. They couldn't bother to do basic research for so much as permits, or to make sure the house has no black mold in it (most likely explanation for why they had to cut early). How are they this incapable of planning forward after nearly two years doing this? Are wiggers capable of any thought other than nitrous oxide and hypebeast cancer? This season also had some of the worst-bombed bits in Fishtank history -- what other moment in Fishtank has made so many people hate every single contestant in the cast, even to the end of the show in some cases (case in point, every person saying nobody deserved the money)?

They somehow managed to achieve the highest of highs yet the lowest of lows, and it's hard to say how much of the former can even be credited to production.

These people were insufferable, Retarded, Deviant, and would betray their own family for fame.
Them not getting the price was great, nobody fucking deserves it.
Nobody ever deserves the money, the whole point of Fishtank is to have autistic mouthbreathers no reality show would ever dare to approach. S1's winner was a spastic that won by having simps, S2's winner was fucking LubeCooch, and 2nd place was a Japanese porn actor who would've blown all the money on a retardedly expensive college to make the porn Matrix. Trying to moralfag about Fishtank contestants of all people is asinine.
