Your post had me curious and I looked it up, and no, you can't get PReP over the counter.

Also, may I recommend alternative term "Faggoy?" Faggoyim carries a powerful weight to it as well, like a hex to bring misfortune to someone. Perhaps in the form of mild sneezes.

You're right you can't get it over the counter and to get PReP from a GP/NP you are supposed to have regular STD screening done. I even believe it is required to be prescribed it (it is for me).

All sex has inherent risk that you have to accept, you just mitigate it the best you can. For gay sex prep+condoms is about as good as it gets and they do a good job at protecting you.

It's much more difficult for a woman to contract an STD from a man for a variety of reasons both social and biological.

Women are very selective about who we date in the first place. We have to be for safety reasons. So before you even get that first date a very thorough vetting process has already been underway. The type of man who would be carrying around STDs is not the type want to mess around with (and yes, within reason you can get a good read on who is and isn't a freak if you're an observant and intuitive person). This is always present on a woman's mind if she isn't deranged. Then you get to the fact that it's normal to use a condom for straights. Some people will complain but we all know why it's necessary. For avoiding STDs, for avoiding pregnancy, for not fucking up the ph balance in your vagina. A vagina has (IIRC) 7 membranes and is designed to be penetrated (self-cleaning as well, that's what discharge is, peeing after sex can also help flush stuff out apparently). An asshole has 1 membrane and is not designed to be penetrated. During normal sex a woman isn't going to experience tearing and therefor the blood barrier that really nasty stuff needs isn't going to be broken. It's more common for promiscuous women to have yeast infections from the introduction of bacteria that's not supposed to be there than anything else. Read that again. The reason aside from rampant hyperpromiscuity that MSM pass around so many STDs to each other is just this fact--it's easy for an asshole and intestinal lining to be damaged. So when talking about promiscuous behavior among straight and gays we're not talking about the same thing. Y'all just have different needs when it comes to protecting your health. You need to be responsible for it.
